Today, I went into the Granby location to order a milkshake. It is a specialty shake that I did not see on their website, so I had to go into the restaurant to place my order. When i walked in, there were no other customers, but the crew seemed busy behind the counter, so I waited patiently.
As I was waiting, the phone rang, and an employee broke away to answer the call. He answered the phone directly in front of me but did not acknowledge me. Strike one. As he is on the phone, he begins to ring in the callers order. Strike two. Then, two other employees came to the other register (still didn't acknowledge me) and began to fool around with the keyboard. I assumed the young man was logging in and would then take my order. I assumed wrong. They researched whatever they were researching, and then both walked away. Strike three.
I exited the store and went to my car to cool off before I called the store. Once I was calm, I called into the restaurant to speak to the manager about my experience. To my shock, the manager was one of the employees who had been at the register and had ignored me. When I recounted my experience, the only response i got was, "Oh yeah, sorry.' It was so insincere and dismissive.
I've visited this location on a few occasions without incident. My previous experiences were actually pleasant interactions. Apparently, this restaurant's culture has changed. Employees will follow the cues of management and clearly the manager thought that it was okay to ignore a customer. Folllowing my experience today, I probably will...
Read moreLet me tell you about the awesome experience that I had with James, Ryan and Mason tonight. These 3 individuals were probably some of the best that I have dealt with in a long time.
My job likes to work me odd hours and most of the time I don't get my lunch because of the nature of the beast that my job produces as a Rigger and a Truck Driver. So when I came in at 8:55 pm asking if they were still open because I was famished from my day expecting (from this day and age) to be turned away, I was greeted with a smile and was told that it wasn't closing time yet and that they could still make food.
I was actually thrown back for a bit when they said this, and I was actually expecting them to get my order wrong (which would have totally been fine seeing as though I could have eaten a cow by about this time) They made it faster than most McDonalds and Burger Kings would make it and it still tasted way better than the 2 of them combined; not to mention they got my order right (take that other fast food restaurants)
10/10 would totally recommend coming here even if you had to travel to get here.
If these three ever needed and were looking for a different job to switch there career from the food industry, I'd be happy to put forth their names. There work ethic gives me hope for the future of our...
Read moreThis location is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the food was fast and tasty. Other Wayback's that I have been to seem to have an attitude when I asked for no tomatoes on my burger and the food literally took over 20 minutes. I have never had any trouble at the Granby location of all the times I have been here. They were happy to remove one ingredient from my sandwich and didn't make me tell them all the toppings I actually wanted. The food was delivered to my seat within 5-8 minutes and the burger was hot and fresh tasting. The fries were so hot I had to wait a minute to dive in and enjoy, certainly a good problem to have!
The location is also spotless. All the empty tables were clean, the floors were being swept after anyone left, and the kitchen area was well organized and visibly clean as well.
I will certainly patronage this...
