Barista's Coffee House — Restaurant in Grand Island

This was my first visit to this local coffee house, and it was amazing! They have a little production building, which also hosts their drive-thru window, and is also separate from their dining room and attached bathrooms.

We walked in to order our gourmet coffee, and although the wait for the finished product was a little bit longer than what I might expect at a Starbucks or other type of coffee house, I was in good company and the conversation was freely flowing because of the calm atmosphere, so I didn't notice the wait at all.

After receiving our coffees in the production building, we then headed across the courtyard to the enclosed dining area, where we found seats easily in a sparsely populated dining room, and we got to work on our laptops while sipping coffee and continuing conversation.

Location is very refreshing with a parking lot that's easily accessible, and the staff offers great service in a friendly way that makes you feel like they know you like family.

I specifically had requested a white mocha, but with everything sugar free, to which the barista responded, "Got it! Everything sugar free as possible!" And, of course, the white mocha was delicious. Quite possibly the best...

My favorite place, the last 2 visits have not been correct, I did go back once to correct it because I did have the time. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have always been treated VERY well as well as the office I work for but today was not good, I pulled away very hurt to not get what I ordered, overcharged and treated like it was my problem well I did not feel so good about that. I tried to call to speak to the manager and was told they don't give out that info....hopefully this is seen. I will try again...and the overcharge will be a tip. Thank you...

This is the best coffee shop. Every time we pass through Grand Island to and from Omaha and the Rockies, we stop here. The best pastries, all fresh, and handmade coffees to order. Adorable seating areas inside and out. You can't beat this place. So happy it's there for when we travel through. 10 stars, not five. Awesome cinnamon rolls, coffee cake and the most perfect scones.
