Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Grand Island

The wait for the drive through was terrible! There was not a single car in line at all before us, and only a couple diners in the dining room, but the wait was about 10 minutes before we could even place our order. When we got our drinks, the staff was discourteous and insincere, acting annoyed with us for being there rather than being apologetic for being so disorganized that they couldn't take a single order with no other customers in line. The taste of the food was good, but it was cold, leading me to believe that it was not cooked fresh to order. I asked for veggies on a sandwich and did not have the order filled correctly. (Lettuce, tomatoe, onion) Came back in the store to get veggies added. They made a whole new sandwich and still did not get the correct veggies on the sandwich. So I just left before anymore time was wasted. Went back to the vehicle and the second sandwich was wrong as well. Too much time was spent already, Terrible service. The people behind the counter were short on conversation. There was one guy working front who seemed to not be mad that wee were there, but the girls working made us feel like an inconvenience. It was lunch time on a Thursday afternoon.

We've worked these kinds of jobs so we didn't mind- we understand but when my 2 year olds fish sandwhich came out I was blown away as to how they could serve this and not want to make it better. There was NO edible piece. It was too crunchy- even the inside was ridiculously hard. Good thing we had fries he'd have gone hungry.
