Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Grand Island

My buddy and I were running late getting out of Grand Island after running errands and dining options became very quickly limited and as we drove down the main road, we saw a big line at Sonic so that seemed like a good option. As we drove further up the road to assess other options and found our original goal had closed, we doubled back to Sonic and found the line had quickly been wiped out and that they had coned off the parking lot. I was dying of thirst and my buddy's blood sugar was tanking hard, so I wasn't even really thinking about the purpose of the cones as I swerved skillfully around them, only to be told they had a big order and we're closing up for the night.

I politely hollered out "we can't just get a drink and something quick to fix?" And the guy shrugged, gave a dismissive sigh and accommodated our late intrusion and made our night, allowing an acception and letting us grab a quick drink and some fast fried popcorn chicken and tots. We were super greatful, as we knew it was late and that the crew wanted to wrap up and go home. Super awesome and very happy as usual with the stuff from this location. My husband and I were craving a late night Reese’s blasts and so I called before I left, around 10:35, just to make sure they were still serving the blasts. They said they were and that they would be closing soon. I said ok, but didn’t think anything of it because they still had 25 minutes left. I got there about 10:45-10:50 and lights were off, but I pulled up to the speaker anyway, still 10-15 minutes until they are supposed to close at 11. Someone comes over the speaker and says, “I am sorry but we are closed.” I said, “even with about 10 minutes until closing?” They replied with, “well our fryers are off, have a good night.” Pretty disappointed that I didn’t even get a chance to try and order anything and was told one thing before leaving my house, got their before closing time, according to y’all’s hours of operation on your website for my location to be turned away. Stopped there two weeks ago. They got our order wrong and told us it would be 5 minutes to fix it. 15 minutes went by and we were late for our meeting so we had to leave. We called telling them that we had to leave and told us we'd have a refund in 2-3 days. A week went by so I tried calling them. No answer. I called corporate who said they'd get ahold of us and get our refund. Another week went by. I tried calling the store multiple times with no answer. Called corporate again who said they couldn't issue us a refund and the store had to do it. Said they'd try getting a hold of them again and that's when I said I've tried multiple times.
