Arby’s has always been one of my favorite fast food restaurants & I’m a big fan of their curly fries dipped in Arby’s sauce.
Their French dip sandwich is as good as any I’ve eaten in a nice restaurant & that’s typically my go-to order when I visit an Arby’s restaurant. In fact, I can’t remember a time when I’ve ever ordered anything different than the French dip (except for times I’ve ordered one with extra beef).
This afternoon, I visited the Arby’s on North Avenue, planning to order a French dip sandwich with a small side of Curley fries, but the kid behind the counter recommended their new gyro.
I was pretty hungry & didn’t think a single gyro was going to be enough food, but this thing was massive & it was packed to the brim with meat & veggies.
I honestly wasn’t expecting to be impressed by a gyro from a fast food restaurant, but it was awesome! It was plenty of food & tasted delicious!
I dined inside & the restaurant was clean & well maintained. The employees were quick, friendly & attentive.
I’ll definitely visit this Arby’s again when I’m on this side of town & would recommend this place to anyone whose hungry!
If you’re looking for a change of pace, their Greek Gyro is surprisingly delicious!
If you’re looking for something sweet, grab a jamocha shake to finish it off!
Keep up the good work Arby’s crew! You guys are doing...
Read moreIt had been a very, very long day and the only thing I had eaten all day was 4 chicken nuggets. I was withering away and all I wanted to eat was a Reuben from Arby's so at 11:43 -about 20 minutes to close- I pull into the drive thru, delighted I made it before they closed. In short order my Reuben dreams were dashes when I pulled up to the speaker and got the recording that they were closed. I sat at the speaker for a minute to Google their hours (hoping someone would come over the speaker and say it was just a mean joke, of course they were open!) No such luck. Deflated, I made the long, sad drive through the rest of the drive thru and past the window. In the window I saw a couple of employees and slowed as I rolled past, hoping they might see me and wave me down so I may have my warm, juicy reuben. Unfortunately they did not even look at me. I did not try and get their attention. I might pull up too close to close sometimes but I am not awful enough to try and get a place of business to open up just for me. Anyways... Minus one star for closing early and crushing my hopes for a late night Reuben to save me from certain starvation but 4 stars for good food + a very nice parking lot for sitting in your car to cry when the only open place you wanted food from late at night breaks your heart by...
Read moreMy son and I were in the drive thru today and a disabled veteran in a scooter ordered in the drive thru, due to his disabilities he could not get off of his scooter and walk into the restaurant and the doors are not handicap accessible. When getting around to the window after placing my order I over heard the manager on duty tell this gentleman that he had to come inside as they could not serve him his food through the drive thru window. I felt that this was totally disgraceful to a disabled veteran, who if his own accord could not make it into this store in his own. I personally don’t see what the difference was between this gentleman’s scooter and a motor cycle or other moped type scooter. They did help him into the building but I felt that there didn’t need to be a scene, this was the mans vehicle. Not only disgraceful but then it caused confusion as it got orders in the drive thru out of order. Either make your stores handicap accessible or allow them to use...
