The short version: There is a 50% chance or lower that they mess up getting you the correct nuggets despite how clearly you tell them the order then they will give you a very blank stare as if they can't comprehend that the store made an error & that you would simply like the item you literally paid for, but did not get.
Longer version: Everything seems fine until they mess up your order. For whatever reason after maybe 12-15 different occasions over the last few years I have decided my guaranteed solution is to never be a customer of chick fila again, period. I live across town so driving back, babysitting my receipt & calling them to prepare them of my visit is pathetic customer service. Let alone its not like they give you something extra for the trouble, again trust me I have had the exact same problem happen over a dozen times & never once did a manager say hey how about this tiny ice cream coupon or baby fry. I don't need or want free stuff, but my point is its bad enough having to go back to a place so they can correct the error they are incapable of getting correct, but on top of that they will treat you as if you are a disgusting nasty bum trying to rip them off & lie to them, & yet again on top of that to my point above they don't even offer you anything else for their constant inability to actually get an order correct, they just give you what you already paid for but did not receive. The issue is when you order grilled chicken nuggets. To try to help the kids taking orders with the world most blank stares in their lost little heads I would say 3-4 times during the order, Yep Im just making sure those are the grilled nuggets because I get them for my dog...nope I dont need any sauce since the grilled nuggets are for my dog. etc. I had a girl stare at me who had no clue what I was talking about & for about a full minute I kept repeating myself politely that your store gave me the wrong nuggets the deep fried breaded kind last time I was here. & before I order my own stuff I want to make sure they can correct & get me the grilled chicken 5 piece. She starts explaining that the grilled nugget 5 piece does not come in a combo then other nonsense I literally never asked or cared about. Finally I have to walk her through what to do. Ok radio your boss & tell them you have a customer here at the drive thru that got the wrong chicken nuggets & is asking if they are willing to correct their error. She finally does & says the manager said I need a receipt, must call the store immediately on the same day as well as they will only fix the problem on the same day so even if I live across town I have to then drive back to the store so they can fix the problem they caused in the first place. To make it worse is it seems to be this impossible problem to solve as those drive thru kids are legit more blank than an empty jar. They just don't understand what the word grilled means or how to hear it. If you read this thinking Im rude when I order than thats your ignorance kicking in. I am just sick of being treated like trash when I go here & Im finally letting out my frustration with how bad the service has been for years. I usually have to remember to open the bag even though they give it to you closed then they wave you away as if you are immediately a problem to them if you dare open the bag there, so I finally forgot to check. But its not my job to babysit the receipt & call you & drive back to the store on the same day when people have things to do. Do your job correctly, period. Its not a request. Since you are incapable of doing so you never get my business...
Read moreService: But it started when I first went to pay, and they told me that I could scan for points and pay with my card, that they would 'make sure it doesn't charge you' --- beep my phone paid the 45$ when the app was open and the barcode was on the screen under the red side scanner -- 'ooh.... it didn't even get the app. Sometimes apple pay is finicky'. After a minute, I said '...this is an android.' She just looked at me lost. My 'tall guy' friend who was next to me said you should be able to submit for points....So I had to do the missing transactions dance on the app.
Food: 30 pc nuggets had a very much burned taste, the fries were lacking flavor, the cookies and creme shake was pretty much melted, with poor presentation, the cherry on the bottom, whipped cream flat...
Atmosphere: odd vibes. I got stares from many, many customers. Maybe because I was with a black guy, a very tall guy, and several kids. đ¤ˇââď¸ Not sure. But it was rather annoying. I felt the same vibes my friend said when he said he felt irritated and he was not sure why. I know why now.
After I had to go back up a total of four times, getting off-putting stares when I first went and asked about the burned 30pc and it's quality ('hi, I'm sorry to bother you, I am really not a complainer, but I just needed to ask you all about this box'. Got an irritated stare, she walked off, then about a minute later, I'm standing there still, to the point that another employee asked if I was being helped.... Finally a lady in a green (or different color) shirt walked back with her, and then the two of them faced away from me and talked about it for a minute while I'm still standing with the box in hand, and the (other colored shirt), presumably manager looked over her shoulder and spoke 'we will get you a fresh batch sir' then I walked back to my table with the same bad box. Then I had to go back to ask for a to-go bag and got a wonderful dead eye stare again as though I was a bother...and then I had to go one more time to ask for a salad bag. I think you can imagine the reaction I got. I didn't even want to look at the woman in the eye.
Yeah. Not...
