My family and I ordered through Freddy's online app today for the Freddy's off highway 6 & 50, and one of us ordered a regular sized cheese curd. We drove through the drive through & picked up the order after pre-paying on the app. When we got back to our house, we realized the cheese curds were not in the bag, but all our other food was. Not a huge deal, but we decide to give the restaurant a call so we could pick up our cheese curds at some point.
My mom goes to call, and the worker on the line tells her that they are out of cheese curds and they can't give her a refund. Obviously, this is not okay, and my mom proceeds to say just that. You cannot pay for food, not receive it, and be told you cannot get a refund. My mother may have been frustrated, but the worker then starts telling the people around her that my mom is screaming at her over the phone. She was not screaming or yelling at anyone. That was completely unprofessional. Then when my mom confronts her when she's back on the line, telling the worker that she wasn't screaming at anybody. The worker denies saying it & proceeds to HANG UP ON HER!
My mom calls back and asks to speak to a manager. The "manager" (we weren't sure this actually was a manager) finally agrees to get her information, so the next time she goes to town she can pick up cheese curds.
The workers were incredibly rude, unprofessional & ridiculous over something that could have been 1. Said to us when we picked up our food, 2. Replaced with something else, or 3. Just apologize and offer to pick up the cheese curds when they get more. I will not be returning to this Freddy's establishment. If you wish to go to one, visit the one off Horizon...
Read moreEDIT: It's been over 3 weeks since I left the review below and Freddy's has proven to me they don't care. I was contacted by a district manager who seemed to be so interested in talking to me but expected me to be the one to call her. I left my number and never heard a word. Then I was contacted by Freddy's corporate who wanted to follow up to see if the matter had been resolved. I responded that No it hadn't. Yet again, crickets. This place is a joke. They seriously don't care. I'm not looking for free food. Just some accountability. Tonight I went to McDonalds and was so happy to receive hot food, warm smiles and a price point that was $10 cheaper than Freddy's. Freddy's loves to say they care but they really don't. Oh and if I'm ever craving cheese curds, I'll be going to Dairy Queen for those from now on. Bye Freddy's.
Original Post: I used to be the biggest Freddy's fan. Now you've lost me for life. I've been having issues the last several times I've gone to Freddy's (both this location and the one on Horizon). I can't tell you how many times I've ordered extra cheese on my burger and then NEVER got it. Or getting an order of cheese curds only for the bag to be a quarter full. I thought I'd give it one more try. I ordered a large cheese curd and a single burger with EXTRA cheese. The cheese curds were half full and the burger came out COLD and yet again - no extra cheese. Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We had the worst customer service & were hung up on when we called after getting home with our drive-thru order seeing an item was missing. They told me they were out of the item I paid for so they couldn’t give it to me. I said okay, then can I get a refund? They told me they don’t offer refunds & then just sat quietly on the other end, not offering something in its place or anything. My mind was blown. They can’t produce the item AND I’m told they’re keeping my money. I asked if I could speak to the manager & I can hear the employee telling someone that I’m on the phone yelling at her; I hadn’t yelled at anyone, I only had explained the issue. When she got back on the phone I confronted the conversation that I could hear in the background & they said they weren’t saying that, but I could hear every word. Then she told me she wasn’t going to stay on the phone for this & HUNG UP. I did call back to express my concern with a manager for how that was handled, they then tell me they will take down my name, phone number & HOME ADDRESS. I said I don’t believe they need my home address for a missing food item that I didn’t receive through their drive-thru & I refused to leave that information with them. That seemed like an odd request. They then say their manager is requesting the home address, but I thought I was speaking to the manager. I don’t believe I ever spoke to a manager.
