Arrived about 6 and only a couple tables had customers so we were greeted promptly. We thought we wanted to order an antipasto salad but it turned out that it was finely chopped tomatoes and Ham and that is really not an antipasto salad. We passed on that and ordered a mini salad which was very mini and over $6. We ordered the deep dish pizza with green pepper, olives, onions, and salami. Each topping was $1.50. we had a hard time finding the salami and all of the toppings were so finally chopped that they barely had any flavor. The sauce on the pizza was delicious but unfortunately the toppings were sparse. This pizza had really good potential but was disappointing with the lack of toppings. Picture shows a piece of green pepper and believe it or not a piece of salami. The pizza would have been great, the bottom was crispy and as I said the sauce was wonderful. Wish there would have been bigger pieces of toppings so we could have tasted them.

I... guess I'm not sure what I expected, maybe a 4.2-star experience? I got take-out this Saturday and was excited to try a new pizza place (especially one with Detroit-style deep dish! It's been too long since I had some good crispy-edge square pizza!) and was beyond disappointed; shocked even. Garlic bread was... practically dry? You can see how little butter it actually got. The pizza lacked the signature Detroit crispy edges and the dough was flat, the cheese very rubbery (and why is the cheese so yellow/orange? Pizza cheese should be white!) The toppings looked like they had been scattered on post-bake rather than before it... Was just completely underwhelming. All-in-all completely not worth the price, and now I'm more worried about food poisoning than any kind of satiation.

This was the best deep dish we’ve ever had! Perfect crunchy crust, soft middle, yummy and saucy, but not messy. I also really enjoyed the antipasta salad. Simple and just what you expect. The ambiance has this vintage divey vibe and it really feels like you go back in time when you’re in there. Definitely coming back to this place for many years to come. YUM.

Went here for dinner tonight. Arrived a little after 5:00 PM. Friendly waitress. I had a peach mule which was good. We ordered dinner. My wife ordered a salad and half order of bread sticks. It was pasta night, so I ordered some pasta with shrimp. After a while my wife's salad and bread sticks arrive, but no pasta. Soon the salad, bread sticks and mule are gone, still no sign of my pasta. We ask our waitress where my pasta is, she says there is a big group up front who ordered pasta, so the kitchen is slammed. This goes on for some time. Each time we ask the answer is it should be out in 3 or 4 minutes. Finally, after almost an hour without my meal we asked for our check. Our waitress said the pasta was almost ready, just a couple more minutes if we wanted to take it to go. We said sure, paid our full bill, including the pasta. Another 10 minutes goes by, still no pasta. So we left. Spent 50 bucks on a salad, some bread sticks, an ice tea and peach mule. My suggestion to the staff. If you are overwhelmed and can't serve your guests in a timely manner, tell them up front. If our waitress had said they were really backed up and it was going to be an hour, we would have gone somewhere else for dinner and returned on another night. Now we will...

Honestly my experience today deserved one star not three but I’m assuming this only happened because they were clearly busy and understaffed. Their food especially the salad is usually incredible. I ordered curbside pickup and when I called to let them know I was there they said my order was ready and would be right out. I waited 25 minutes before going inside to pick up my order myself. They forgot my salad at first and ended up giving me the wrong one (without all the extra toppings that make their salads so great, and it also happens to be less expensive than the salad I paid for). They also brought me my to go drink in a glass and I had to leave it there because I couldn’t just take their glass in my car and with no lid? Not sure if they just ran out of to go cups or if their drinks are really not “to go” as the website says, but essentially I payed $3 for a drink I didn’t technically receive. In this economy? No ma’am. So in the end it took 45 minutes to pick up an order that was supposedly ready when I arrived and I didn’t even receive the correct items. Such a...
