Taco John's — Restaurant in Grand Junction

I was greeted very warmly. The staff was helpful while I was ordering as I have been to one a long time ago and did not really remember what was what. The food was great, like really good. I got the meat & potato burrito meal with guac. The burrito was great with the (I believe) potato olés in the burrito. Then I had the potato olés (they were both in the burrito and the side) with guac... that was the best side that I had had from a fast food chain, better than even the McDonald's hash brown. I not kidding the potato olés are like smaller and crisper McDonald's hash brown which make them that much better. The facility looks clean and is in good condition and as a native (Coloradan) love the old D bronco helmet in the entrance. to add look like they have a great breakfast selection which I will be trying out here soon. Now that I have been here and know a little more I will highly consider Taco Johns for meals...

Things are improving at Taco John's, the tostadas are great ! I will say the presentation of the product has improved from the last time I visited the restaurant, I have tried other foods at TJ , so for now I will give this restaurant a 9 out 10 for food presentation and flavor, great improvement TJ keep the good work going., I do rate places at least 4 times a year. And things have improved quite a lot for TJ. So pay them a visit you won't be sorry,and your palette will enjoy the experience. RC. Food evaluator for food magazines. Forget taco bell! This place has REAL FRESH ingredients - not from a zip-lock or whatever that "meat" is. Best crunchy tacos! I rarely eat pork but I had 1/2 of Mom's pork burrito, and it was delicious. - If you're bored of tacos (you might be crazy) order the pork burrito, or chicken. I usually order the 4 for $7- ($7.99 I think?) I get all crunchy tacos, ask for RANCH-- they also have a spiced ranch. Chipotle ranch i think? Ask for both & black olives. I think they not only have great food, but the best ranch dressing in town! Weird I know but there's someone out there agreeing-- that good ranch is hard to find! LoL 😆 I hope you find this place enjoyable. It's my fav when tacos...
