QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

I don't ever write reviews, but this experience was so laughable, I had to...... Starting off, there was a group in front of me and they were laughing at the portions they were being given. When it got to me, I was given the smallest amount of rice one could imagine. I then asked for more rice and the response I got was "I guess" in an annoyed tone. he proceeded to add maybe 15 grains of rice to my burrito. then for the chicken..... it was the smallest scoop I have ever seen, comparable to the meat on one children's taco at any other establishment. The lettuce was brown, and to top it all off, it took over 30 minutes to get through the line. I get the people were training..... but come on... 30 minutes is just outrageous to put 9 things on a shell. Once I started to eat the burrito, it was all cold from the long wait in the line. The chicken had an overwhelming bitter taste from it being burnt. And something I couldn't believe, the rice was super chewy. HOW DO YOU MESS UP RICE LIKE THAT!!!

Cliff notes: bad service (the older gentleman was very kind however) cold food burnt chicken and undercooked rice way to long of a wait they ration food like they can't make more JUST DRIVE 3 MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD TO THE QDOBA ON NORTHLAND DRIVE!!...

Well it deserves zero stars. I was extremely disappointed. I've been there before with no issues however it was a completely different staff. I walked in around 1pm..it was not even close to busy. I waited about 10 mins to order while a girl separate from the one who was taking the order in front of me just stood there cleaning. She watched 2 more people walk up after me. Still cleaning. Didnt feel the need to take anyone's order. There were atleast 4 people working that were not doing anything. No one talked nicely or had a smile on their face. And when I asked for a craft two pick and to add 1 taco. They made it seem like it was a crazy thing to ask for and ended up charging me for a full kids meal. My whole order is usually 9 something and I paid 14.50. They were extremely rude to me when I paid because I told them all I asked for was the craft 2 with one taco added. And she gave me a dirty look. But i still smiled and paid. I just dont understand how hard it is to treat someone with respect. I'm sure you hate your job but wow. I wont be going back to that qdoba...

My husband and I never complain... but tonight was the last night we will ever give our money to qudoba on northland drive. We came in around 9:50pm to get dinner after our wonderful night out. When we ordered the girl with dark longer hair, which we believe is a manager, but not sure. I ordered a taco salad, and she started just making my taco salad without a taco bowl (shell). I repeated myself again "TACO SALAD." I was very polite. My husband asked where the taco shell was. She replied "we dont have anymore." Then went back to look and she took a shell out and dumped everything into it. Never smiled... Then I asked for a bigger thing of sauce on the side. I told her Id pay extra if it was a cost. She put a tiny tiny bit in a small to-go container for sauce. It was honestly so little that i thought it was a joke. I said can i get a big to-go one? She said thats all we have left. Our experience was aweful. So sad because we used to come a lot. I have bad days to, but im in customer service myself..never would I...
