Koi Sushi — Restaurant in Grants Pass

We came here for lunch while getting our car cleaned across the street. We have been here several times and have always considered it a generally acceptable place to get lunch during similar occasions. When we sat down to order the table was clear of all debris. After ordering our lunch I noticed rat feces on the table. I was obviously immediately turned off from appetite along with the rest of my family. We had already consumed a couple items prior to noticing but stopped consuming food from the point of recognition. When I informed the waitress, she was clearly not surprised by the rat feces. Her reaction notated a clear recognition of this issue as something ongoing in the kitchen. They comped the food we were not going to consume, but still charged for everything they could. We simply paid and made our exit. If you have a problem with rat feces in and around your food consumption areas I would recommend steering clear of this...

What can I say about this place, I always Always will choose this sushi place over any other sushi restaurant in Grants Pass. Yeah I said that. I hope the owner of this place knows how much I love it and how much I appreciate the work and respect I get when I come here. The sushi chefs are just always ALWAYS fantastic, I am currently sitting in here now waiting for my order patiently because this place IS WORTH THE WAIT. I over hear people saying they have to wait and not sure if they want to wait. Then they don’t need to eat here, this place is the best. Deserves the best. I love this place and will stand by it. I get the floors are sticky but it also is a bar… The food is top tier and all the 6 times I’ve been here even with living 45 minutes away has been the best experience I’ve received.
