Taprock Events Center — Restaurant in Grants Pass

Tap Rock's location is beautifully situated on the Rogue River. Wonderful views of the river, whether you're sitting inside or out on the balcony decks. The food reminds me of a chain restaurant not a specialty restaurant that this beautiful building with all the atmosphere should be. With the Colossal remodel that this property went through there should have been more planning in having a much larger kitchen with a three-story building. Your food is traveling up and down on dumbwaiters which hot things aren't really hot and the cold things are not really cold. If you're having a cocktail and appetizers out on the deck enjoying the views , you're in luck , it's perfect. The decor and artwork is out of this world....

Food is americana. Fried zucchini gross. Service was utterly horrific! Met up with a friend for lunch with her kids and mine. They sat us in the one table outside without an umbrella then told us that they couldn't get us an umbrella because it was too much work mind you this whole time the sun is beating on us for now 40 min still no food. So then they offer to move us inside which sucks cause it was beautiful but w.e. we move next to the freaking fireplace which for whatever reason was on that day. If I could give no stars that would be it...

Breakfast menu is enjoyable! The Benedicts are bite sizes of beautiful bliss. The hot toddy drinks are perfection. As the cool breeze brushes over the bend of water that whirls in front of you as your outside seating reminds you of how gorgeous it is in grants pass. The lunch menu mixes up sandwiches, pastas. Burgers and salads. I have to go on record and say that the veggie burger there, is literally one if the best...
