Denny's — Restaurant in Grapevine

I went to eat with my grown children and two grandchildren at this Dennys. We arrived and were seated quickly. The waitress we received did NOT understand English very well. It took awhile to receive our drinks and when the drinks arrived to the table they were all types of messed up. I asked the waitress to give me a minute to place my order and she looked puzzled and asked “what is a minute?”. I was very frustrated and just got up to leave. The whole family was getting in the car when a waitress quickly came out to see what had happened. I explained to her that there was a language barrier and that if the drinks came all messed up I would hate to see what we would get food wise. She offered to be our waitress if I was willing to stay and give her the opportunity. I said I would take her up on that offer. Her name is Tiffany. She was an amazing waitress and I am thankful that I gave her the chance to make things right. I spoke to the manager named Kenya and she acted like she didn’t care what I had to say and was kind of arguing with me about the first waitress that we had when we arrived. The manager seemed unknowledgeable and not friendly at all. She seemed bothered by the fact that I asked to even speak with her. The only reason I will return to this location in the future is the waitress that we ended up...

We were in the area to visit the mall attractions. We drove around and saw a fairly new looking Denny's and noticed the Grand Opening sign. Decided to stop in. Let's just say our service was pathetic. The individual who was supposed to be at our table never showed up for several minutes. Finally the Store Manager came over and took our drink order and then upon return came back and took our food order. Finally after the food was ready the individual who was supposed to be for our table came over timdily and was like " uh, I think I'm supposed to be serving your table" and sat down our food. Only to be ER return again to refill drinks. We finally had to get up and go to the front to pay for our food. The tortillas were cooked to a crisp like chips and not edible for their intended use. Overall it was lackluster food and poor service. This was Denny's redemption opportunity and it will be a very long time before I visit...

My kids and mom went to eat at this Denny's, they sat us down but no one came to serve the table at first! I was a little disagreed because a family arrived with several children next To us and a waiter arrived quickly and we had arrived first! But in passing, Zamaria B passed by the table and asked very kindly if they hadn't served us yet? I told her No, not yet! She apologized and it seems that it was not her table but she still took the table and served us very kindly and she met my expectations of the service.very friendly lady ! I recommend that you ask for her.
