I've been going to the this taco casa for awhile now without issues, but today I had a bad experience. At the drive thru, I ordered nachos spread out with cheese on the side. I've ordered this plenty of times before, I know how to order it so that the cheese is always on the side. I also ordered a few other things for my family. The girl at the drive thru didn't repeat my order back, and they always do that. When I pulled up to the window, she didn't repeat it back to me then either. I didn't want to complain, so I just hoped it was right. However, glancing inside I saw they were putting the cheese on my nachos not on the side. I asked the girl if she heard me when I said I wanted cheese on the side and she said yes, but I said "are those my nachos with cheese on them?" She walked over and told the manager it wasn't supposed to have cheese. The manager, Jerry, asked her if I just now told her that at the window and she said yes! A complete lie to cover up for her mistake. The manager seemed frustrated, but remade my nachos the way I wanted them to be, or so I thought. When I got home and opened them up, there was barely any beans and beef and a ton of sour cream. And it wasn't put on there the way they normally put it on, spread out, it was in piles and looked unappetizing. It's as if he was mad at me and incorrectly made my nachos because of it. I'm really upset with this experience, and will be travelling further to a different taco casa...
Read moreThe DFW area is home to some absolutely outstanding Tex Mex restaurants. Moreover, gas stations all over the metroplex have some of the most authentic legit Mexican food you could ever want. But sometimes, you want a certain vibe that is neither of those. A vibe that a certain sonorous "Fourth Meal" chain used to embody, but has now become a clanging gong of French fried potatoes, industrial-grade nacho cheese sauce, and a variety of Mountain Dew options. If you're like me and you miss the pure and unadulterated experience of tortilla-meat-beans-and-cheese in every imaginable permutation, then Taco Casa is for you! Imagine that other "Taco" fast food joint at its absolute late-80s magnificent peak, and you'll be exactly spot-on: giant crunchy tacos chock full of meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato; a big ol' massive Super Tostada with all the fixins, a burrito smothered in sauce and cheese with black olives on top, burritos, soft tacos, and just a few other, non-gimmicky options all await you.
If you've never been, don't wait -- just go, and enjoy a certain level of bliss that you might not even...
Read moreMy son and stopped by this location after leaving Grapevine Mills Mall on July 26, 2025. We used to have a 2 Taco Casa where I live. Then Jucy's Taco replaced them, why, I don't know. Taco Casa is way better and I wish they'd at least bring back one Taco Casà Restaurant. The truth is, hands down they have no competition. Because there's no other Fast Food Taco Place that can compete with them. Taco Casa is Truly, One Of Kind, is on a level by itself, above the all the other Taco Chain Places. Anyway, the gentleman that took our order, was so nice and so were the other employees. The whole restaurant was very clean including restrooms. The Food and Service was exceptional. I hope they never change their menu. The Food on the Menu is spot on. We'll be visiting this location again real soon. I 💜 Taco Casa. And since my son is moving to the area soon. Looks like we'll be making this location a regular stop.
FYI: The Chilada ( I get extra sauce, olives, and onions added) and Super Burrito is Deliciously Amazing. I 1000% recommend. Even though I absolutely Love everything I've...
