First and foremost I've been patronizing this place for a long time and I love them. They rearrange and get organized and they get really cool stuff and they don't over price it realizing and understanding that we want Bargains and it was donated for free, which keeps the volume flowing and makes people blessed and happy on both sides. Today I was on a hunt for 3 weeks looking for an old gun rack that holds 3 guns on the wall just like back in the forties & the fifties like Grandma and Grandpa used to have. I was getting frustrated but I told myself when I woke up God you're going to help me find it I'm going to Grapevine to Graceful Buys and they're going to have it. I looked inside and outside and could not find it but they didn't leave me to my own hunt; they cared enough to try to make me happy. Fernando went out of his way saying yesterday we had one let me find it he didn't see it outside he didn't see it inside so he went out of his way and he called one of the guys who work there yesterday. That man did not know so he said, could give me 5 minutes, another guy will be here and he might know where it is. I waited my 5 minutes patiently and Fernando came out with it. I couldn't stop jumping for joy and I mean literally going thank you Jesus thank you Jesus oh my God I'm so happy. So he was busy and has a full day of tasks and responsibilities but he took four to five minutes out for me a customer to bless me and make me happy and in my very frustrating hunt for something I've needed to finish a room that I decorated for my son. Nonetheless the lady at the front was very friendly nice and nice to she held my things back for me while I look for the gun rack. She rung me up and to my surprise I walked out and it was seven or eight wonderful things for under $25. Now let me add this some resale places pretending to serve God and claim to be Christians but their behavior does not exercise such. They are greedy, mean aggressive and irritated with their customers. This has never been my experience here they are friendly and nice and like everybody they can have a bad day or get burned out and I understand. But today they started my Wednesday off fantastic. I can't wait to go home and hang them on the wall and clean up my paintings. I just want to thank each and every one of them for showing up for God today with a joyful heart and a kindred spirit as they do his work for people on both sides of the aisle. People who need things and people who are donating things that people who need to be blessed by the things that are sold. God bless each and everyone of you and a special shout-out to Fernando for caring about what mattered to me today. Sincerely Rene Torrez. The most important thing I need to add is it was never was a law to wear a mask and even a mandate isn't a law just a suggestion that really can't be enforced because there is no law to enforce it. But now that the mandates have been lifted many businesses are alienating their customers and stealing our freedom. I refuse to give one red cent to a company or a business that is. Again it was never a law to wear a mask and even a mandate is just a suggestion that really can't be enforced because there is no law to enforce it. But now that the mandates have been lifted many businesses are continuing to steal our American Freedom. It is a free country if someone wants to wear a mask let them if they don't they shouldn't have to and if that mask really works then they shouldn't be worried about us not wearing one, especially when we're healthy and not sick. We shall not be masked before the Lord. And we absolutely should unmask the truth about the scamdemic. Thank you for allowing me to breathe freely in your business as I shopped. GOD BLESS EACH AND...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was very excited to find this store. I love thrifting and spend too much time and money on it. It's a favorite pastime. I have been looking for a nice chaise lounger and was so happy to find one there. I inquired on the price and was told $40. I said I wanted it and went inside to shop. While in the store, a woman asked why the chaise had been brought in. I happened to be right there and said I was buying it. She told a guy to take it out, that it didn't belong there and went back outside. I went on shopping, and she returned. As she walked past me, she said, "$249." I said, "He told me it was $40." She stopped, turned around, and said, "I don't care what he told you. We're not letting a nice piece of furniture go for $40." I replied that I didn't want it for that price. Now, I get that there was a mistake made, but there are several ways she could have handled the situation. She didn't have to raise her voice or speak harshly. I was not confortationable, but she jumped on me with her words and attitude. As I waited to check out, I noticed that she and another woman (they were both 60 or 70) were pretty rude and unfriendly. The cashier, who was pregnant, was very sweet and kind. As I was going to my car, the guy who gave me the price of $40 saw me. He came and apologized. He was very nice and kind. As I said, I was excited and planned to come back, but I don't know if I will. The folks, who seemed to be in charge, were not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately, there was nothing graceful about my buy! Visited this location for the 30% sale 4th of July weekend. After purchasing household items that were advertised to be 30% off, I only recieved the discount on candle holders and not a bedside dresser. I returned to inquire about the discount and get clarity on whether the item should have been discounted. An associate matter of factly told me it was not but couldn't reference on the flyer where the distinction was made between "household items" and "furniture" at this time the manager walks by and says rather rudely "no furniture is not included!" and walks away. This took me aback I never seen such a poor display of customer service ever, specifically from a "manager". This woman could've very easily take a minute of her time to stop, and engage in a conversation being that I was not belligerent or upset. This was my first visit to this store and I appreciated what they had to offer until I was completely disregarded as a PAYING customer when asking for clarity on a vague and misleading sale advertisement. Next time choose your verbiage wisely when advertising a sale, invest in leadership/management and customer service trainings, and Care more about a paying consumer that keeps your business open. I can only hope this a rare occurrence but nonetheless I should've never recieved this...
