Took my son, a burger-obsessed ten-year-old, to lunch at Burger & Cream today. He always orders a blank burger: nothing but meat and bun. I had the Boss, a bacon cheeseburger with Swiss and American cheeses. He's always excited when his order arrives and it's right. And these guys got his right. So was mine (I have an onion allergy, so I'd asked them not to put on the onion rings which usually come on what I ordered). I was surprised there were no dill pickles, my favorite condiment, but maybe you can ask for them. As it was, my bacon and cheese were just right and my burger was excellent and juicy, even though it was cooked way past the medium-well the menu says to expect. We tried both the regular and the waffle fries. The waffle fries were seasoned, which was okay. The regular fries were hand-cut. My son said his were underdone, but I thought they seemed fine. We finished off our meal with the Cream mentioned in the name. We indulged in a hot fudge parfait with Oreo pieces and a "Twh&ib LMKster" which is their equivalent of a Blizzard or McFlurry, but better. Overall score: 4 out of 5. I'll go here again.

I came in for a quick snack. While parking I learned a friend of a friend's husband had died. As I walked in I could not hold back my tears. A perky young girl working there asked if I was going to be alright. She immediately came around the counter and hugged me. She sincerely said "I'm really sorry for your loss, really" I thanked her and waited for my food. She continued to look over at me, just kind of checking on me. I thought that was so So sweet. The food here is great and everybody knows it, but I'll keep coming back because the sweet humanity she showed for no other reason than she is a great person. Although my loss is great, I left a bit happier then when I came. That is great service. Thank you for the adorable girl with pink streaks in her dark hair.

Very good burger! Order at the counter, seat yourself, and they bring it out to you. We shared a boss burger and halfsies (fries+onion rings). I had a chocolate malt and my hubs had a pb craze. The pepper jack is hot! 💥 The food and frozen treats were absolutely delicious. The fries are amazing - some of the best anywhere. The board says all burgers are cooked to medium but ours was definitely more well than that so you might want to order it med-rare if you like a little pink in the middle. Drinks, ketchup & mustard are self-serve, and you can request ranch & BBQ sauce at the counter. Overall, a really delicious lunch and we’ll make it a regular stop when traveling through GV.

Let me just say every burger I have tried at this place has been delicious. The Western, the Guido, the Pattymelt, etc., you can't go wrong here. They could improve their protein style burgers by adding more lettuce layers. One lettuce leaf is not enough. There should be several layers of lettuce. That would make the burger easier to eat. Everywhere else I've had a protein style burger does a better job at wrapping it in lettuce without an extra fee, which takes me to the next thing. I am experiencing tipflation fatigue. I was okay tipping at fast food restaurants during the pandemic. However, the pandemic is over. I have decided I will no longer allow fast food restaurants to guilt me into tipping for counter service. I have been considering it for some time and my last visit to Burger and Cream solidified my decision.

There were 3 of us plus another at home waiting for some fries. We ordered our burgers along with a family size waffle fries, a family size onion rings, 2 waters, a regular size iced tea and a small size milkshake. My husband paid for the meal including a tip. As we waited for our food to be prepared, we realized the cashier hadn't given us any condiment sauces for the waffle fries and onion rings. So my husband approached the counter and asked for some sauces. After paying $10 for a family size onion rings and $7 for a family size waffle fries, he was told that he could get one sauce per family size tub of fries and onion rings. This is a STINGY, STINGY, STINGY amount. One tiny, not full to the top container for a family size portion of fries and family size portion of onion rings is not enough, and we prefer not to share germs, thank you! We wanted one small container of bbq sauce each and one small container of ranch dressing each. That is 2 sauces per person for a total of 6. Anywhere else, that is a standard ask and it is fair for the price we are paying. In the end, he paid another $1.30 for 6 total sauces. He got 1 sauce for 2 family size tubs (not per family size tub) and paid extra for 5 more.

But it does not stop there. When I cut into my second bite of protein style burger a long hair came out with it. Gross! This is why I won't tip at the counter anymore. In order for me to tip, you have to earn it. I left very unhappy with your service and your food, and you unfairly got a tip that was...

UPDATE:

Food is still great, but I have had to abort and pick a different place to grab food a few times now.

When you try to call in an order, they require that you give them your card number over the phone.

While I can understand what might drive them to make this policy, it does present a few issues: The first and second time I ran into this as an issue, I was driving. I'm not going to pull my card out and read it off while I'm driving. Was supposed to be a quick stop on the way past the exit. Now, if I am in a hurry, I just skip them altogether. When I'm not in a bit of a hurry, and paid over the phone or online, a few times now I have gotten there, and my food was not ready for another 15minutes past when they said it would be ready. So, unless I stand in line to get a refund, I'm just stuck waiting however long they feel like taking that day, vs saying hey, cancel my order, you clearly have not even started it yet, and leaving.

All in all, I still stop by, it's just less often, and usually only If I plan to sit and eat there, or door dash it.

This place is great!!!

The chili fries don't get soggy by the time you get home when ordering takeout.

Western burger was fantastic. Wife loves the the Spicy Johnny burger a lot.

One thing to note, they cook their burgers medium with pink, so ask for your preference if you would like it more done.

Stoked to have another good...

Let's just start by saying I doubt I will ever come back... $30 for two burgers and two sodas was a little pricey but that was okay. Their friendly service started out okay until we had finished our order, and that's when it all went downhill! It's almost like they literally forgot about us! She said it would be about 15 minutes yet after we set right there for about 35 to 40 minutes we finally walked up and asked what about our order? Many people that came in behind us got theirs and left or got theirs and ate and then left! They ended up making it to go when they finally called my name and it appeared to had been sitting on their counter for quite some time and we said that it was for here so they handed it to us and we sat down again to eat and everything was cold!!! They did not Mark which one was well done for my girlfriend so it turns out she ended up with the one that was not as done and was not happy at all about it but we were not going to sit there and have them make another one for another 30 minutes of a wait... it was cold but it did not taste too bad, but we will not go there ever again and I do not suggest that other people do...
