They have stickers here. I bought one, but forgot about it until I started writing this review. I got the sticker for someone else. I'm not a fan of stickers, even when I was a kid. I liked band aids as a kid though, which are kind of like stickers. Band aids gave off the impression that I've been through some tough times, but I persevered. A sticker to me doesn't carry much functional value, it's just a form of expression, which I guess expressing yourself is valuable. I just don't know how to express myself through stickers. I didn't know how to do it as a kid and I don't know how to do it as an adult. I somewhat envy those adults that are able to express themselves through stickers on their laptop, hydro flask, and cars. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'd imagine, as soon as I put a bumper sticker on my car, I'd immediately start to question if this is how I really want to express myself to the world. Honestly, if I had to put a bumper sticker on my car, it'd be "STUDENT DRIVER, PLEASE BE PATIENT". That's how I'd want people to view me. I have a lot of driving experience, but I always consider myself a student of the game, the game of driving. For example, this past weekend I learned that when you're driving somewhere and using Apple maps, you can let other cars know if there is a radar check nearby. When you're in route to your destination, you click on "report an incident" and then click on "speed check". If other cars are using Apple maps, this notifies them to slow down when passing that area. This might be common knowledge, but its very new to me and I'm planning on learning something new this week too, hence the student driver mentality. Anyway, the coffee was really good and unfortunately I lost my...
Read moreThey have great coffee, but they need to learn how customer service works. I stood in line behind 2 couples and waited my turn. No problems. When it was my turn I told the young lady I'd like to buy two, one pound bags of coffee beans. She said, OK." I walked over to the coffee beans and expected her to assist me, and waited for her to come over and help me. Instead she proceeded to help several customers behind me, and never came over. My wife came in and told me I needed to wait in line. I told her, I did wait in line and I told the clerk, I wanted a couple of bags of beans. The young lady looked at me and said, you need to get in line and tell me what you want. I told her I already did, she said yeah, but you need to tell me in line. So she wanted me to get back in line and wait again behind 8 customers to be helped. Now the stupid thing is she'd have to walk over where I was standing to get the coffee beans when it was my turn. This was pure ignorance. As good as there coffee is, I won't be going there again! I just...
Read moreWe are so lucky we have this shop in our town. Wow. They get FRESH water-processed beans. They roast FRESH single-origin beans (no need to hide bad flavors with blending). This means their beans do not have micromolds (ever feel funky from coffee?) and taste fantastic. I never react to their coffee and it is roasted nearly every day of the week. Yum! When I asked a gazillion questions about the type of bean, where they came from, how they were handled, they took the time to answer each question with concern for my happiness. Now I'm completely hooked, I won't go elsewhere. Not only that, but they have a few little cafe tables and serve some decent cafe food, so I don't mind a little mid-morning or afternoon pick-me-up food choice (bagels, quiche, sandwich, etc) from there, either. Great shop. What are yo waiting for? (No, they didn't give me free coffee for this review, but I wish I...
