If I could rate the Grayson Hwy., Zaxby's location near the Krogers Plaza and Gas Station with 0 "stars" - GOD knows I would! First and foremost, as per the signage and online description, this particular Zaxby's location hours of operation like most are from 10:30AM - 10:00PM. Last night, my small child and I arrived to this location at 9:54PM. As soon as we pulled into the drive-thru we noticed that the light on the menu board had already been turned off and there was a young man standing near their exit door. I blew my horn and literally heard people snickering in the background but no greeting. Then I drove up behind another car before deciding to reverse my truck to return back to the menu board and blew my horn lightly once again and said, Hellooo... I then asked the young man standing out back what time they closed and he shrugged his shoulders and said 10. Within moments a young girl came to the speaker and said, "we're closed"... Huh??... Well, a moment later due to my persistence, a young lady began taking my order and I could hear another "woman's" voice - perhaps the light skinned woman say, with the cap on and I quote "she sound like she got an attitude!" Extremely unprofessional, quite honestly the entire experience was just that; ghetto and unprofessional, yes, "GHETTO!". As soon as I began to place my order I was told they ONLY had "strips" her words exactly. I also ordered a Cobb Salad but when we finally arrived to the window, there was NO entrance greeting or exit greeting, although I spoke and THANKED her. The entire time the light skinned female who I assume is some level of Management just stood back staring, refusing to address the fact that the FOOD that they THOUGHT they were going to serve me was OLD! The toast, OLD! The french fries, OLD!, I blew my horn and a younger MORE polite African American female with short hair, cap, eyeglasses and an Asian female reappeared at the window (NOT MANAGEMENT) rather 2 teenage /extremely "young" under 21, Staff Members. These were the ONLY two employees that took time to apologize, explain that the fryers had been turned off for a while BUT that they would remake my baby girl's food. Again, never once did a Manager or the female whom I assumed was a member of Management ever approach the window but rather stood back, staring, running her mouth about the situation and rolling her eyes while ducking in and out of the kitchen area. The African American female and Asian female with long straight hair were honestly much more kind and professional than the young lady that had taken my order, the guy at the back door and the staring, rude Manager or Supervisor. Then a few minutes later SHAREEF W., (the Owner's "SON" based upon what he stated, appeared from the back in an extremely condescending manner without any apology for the terrible service and unprofessionalism BUT to hand me fresh fries ONLY and rush me off. After opening the box I realized that there was NO chicken strips, or shall I say strips as the young girl called them! And SHAREEF W., simply made matters worse; when I made him aware of the fact that the box didn't have any chicken he went into an all out dispute with me about there being chicken in the box until I proved him wrong; this SHAREEF guy carried on as if I were getting on his nerve for desiring a Chick-Fil-a STELLAR customer service experience but they charged me $19.38 and failed to properly prepare my order. When I asked for a full refund, SHAREEF W., actually said "Okay, (GIMME) my food back then! Naw! It's cool, keep it!" GHETTOOO!! My sauces were "ALL" wrong, the tomatoes on my salad were soft and soggy and the attitudes of what I learned to be an AFRICAN AMERICAN Owned establishment was by far the WORST service that I have ever experienced as a Gwinnett resident in 14 years!! I'm an African American woman and can honestly say exactly this...This Zaxby's is by far thee most unprofessional and GHETTO fast food establishment this end of Gwinnett! will never return to this Zaxby's or any other for as long as I live. HORRIBLE...
Read moreUnfortunately, after a year of deliberately avoiding this location for bad service, I took a chance and visited. The WORST experience ever in a Zaxby's restaurant. It was a drive-thru order which included 2 types of cola, when I got to the window the young lady handed me the first drink, I asked which is this one since it wasn't marked... she stated, "I don't know, I didn't make it", looking dumbfounded I asked can you remake them so that we know which drink we're getting, she handed it to someone behind her... now she hands me the drink and I ask "which one is this to be certain", thinking no need to sip someone's drink to determine if its theirs or mine?? Instead of saying what she made, she rudely asked, "which one did you ask for?" I explained I was asking because someone else took my order and I wanted to be sure it was the right drink this time, she never told me I just took the drink at that point, thinking ok back to my other location. So, we realized the order was packed wrong. I had asked for coleslaw/fries, then changed it at the speaker to double fries and an extra side of slaw she said ok to the change. I assumed it would be in its own container since its a separate side. I don't want to eat my slaw out of the other person's box, so I go in an ask for a separate slaw and the other fries for the order. The inside person was friendly, the drive -thru 'person' that couldn't identify the drinks came over to ask what is wrong, I explained the issue... she exclaimed with a voice that the other employees turned their heads.." I asked you at the drive thru did you want coleslaw, I was like wow did she just yell at me, trying not to match her rudeness, I told her we were clear at the window when I changed it from slaw/fries to dbl fries and a side of slaw, she goes "well, it was already prepared" and walked off muttering under her breath to remake the order... when she brings the food, just a nasty blank face looking at me, I ask for the manager, she says "I am the manager" shocked, I ask for her manager, she say's "my manager is the general manager", then I ask for their information, she said you can look it up, I then ask for her name, she goes, "I don't have to give you my name" and walked off... Luckily, I have self control and told her that's okay, I will get to someone that hopefully knows how to handle you. Not sure if she was lying about her position, her description --- she is about 5'2, fair skin, dark hair, glasses, lots of tattoos, plus sized..
To the Owner/GM, this person you have running your store is a nasty piece of work. I would not recommend if the...

I had the most prejudice experience today at this Grayson location.. I have been going to this location for the past 2 years ..and today a cashier named Kayla C was very disrespectful unprofessional and very prejudice I was standing in line for over 8 minutes ..just two people and myself ,when a Caucasian lady walks in and get in line. when it was my turn to order I walked up to the register to begin my order then the Caucasian lady said to Me â OH I DID NOT KNOW YOU WERE IN LINEâ So I started to explain to the lady how i just seen her walk in after me .. The other customers agreed and spoke up for me.The lady and I both agreed that it was my turn. I proceeded to give the cashier Kayla my order. Well to my surprise.. Kalya told me that she was not taking my order and asked the Caucasian ladyâ DO you want me to call the manager for you..â So i asked Kayla for what? Then she told me to calm down Iâm asking her do she need me to call the manager in a very sassy and unprofessional tone.. The Caucasian lady said to Kalya âYes it is ok I made a mistake â I proceeded with my order .. I left out feeling angry and very Racially profiled and told my husband what happened.. He goes back in Zaxbys and ask to speak to the manager.. Kayla tells my husband that you cant talk to her because she is busy.. So my husband said well is that her at the drive through? Kayla replies yes but you cant talk to her right now.. So my husband calls the manager who name is Ronnie.. And she comes over . so my husband begins to explain to her what happened and the cashier Kayla jumps in and said he is just mad.. The manager Miss Ronnie asked us do we want our money back. We told her No.. Money is not the issue .Miss Ronnie replies â there is nothing eles she could do.â So we left to only go back to car to cold food..smdh ..So with all that being said.. This was the most. Prejudices Horrible, unprofessional , disrepecful experience i have had at Zaxbys, Zaxbys was my favorite place to go to...
