The Backstage Grille — Restaurant in Great Barrington

We had just booked our wedding venue in the Great Barrington area, and knew that many of our friends and family members would be arriving the night before and staying in Great Barrington. We wanted to throw a welcome party for everyone to get people mingling and having fun in a very casual and fun atmosphere. Cove Bowling and the Backstage Grill seemed absolutely perfect! I reserved the bowling lanes in April, and I was in contact with Robin about the food menu since the summer. She is phenomenal!!!!! We spoke on the phone many times… she’s so enthusiastic and ready to help and she had so much to offer. She and her daughter even decorated the tables for us, and went out of their way to help our guests give us a very sweet memento :) There were SOO many food options, and she was so accommodating to my guests with food allergies. We ended up with around 80 guests, and we ordered a bunch of pizzas, chicken tenders, wings, and fruit platters... plenty of food. Our guests opened their own tabs at the bar and compared to Boston/NY drink prices, they were happily surprised at how low their bar tabs were! This little gem inside the Cove bowling alley was a solid find! We were in search of late night eats in Great Barrington and noticed they were open til midnight (it was a Saturday) so we stopped in and were happy we did. Samantha and Steve were great and walked us through the menu. We ordered the pepperoni flatbread, wings, loaded tots and chicken tenders. Everything was solid. Wings were perfectly prepared (and subsequently given the Buffalo stamp of approval) and the backstage buffalo sauce was fantastic. The loaded tots were incredible.. do not pass on the garlic cheese sauce! The tenders were a little underwhelming to me, but only because I think they were left in the fryer a bit too long as they were on the drier side. I'd give them another shot though based on all the other positive reviews about them. Pizza was simple and delicious.

I ordered the Nacho bowl and it was amazing! Made very well and a really good portion as well! I also ordered the Sunrise quesadilla for someone else it was also very good and they agreed they have really good portions of food! The food tasted amazing and I will definitely be going back soon! They are very well priced for the amount of food and the quality of the food! I will definitely be recommending this place to family and...
