Sunday breakfast. Restaurant area was about 1/2+ full. We were seated, served coffee (after asking for a new clean coffee cup), table of 6 who sat after is ordered before us. We waited a good 40 minutes for our meals. Knew the food was ‘sitting’ because the gravy had that your food has been sitting ‘film’ on top. Potatoes and eggs were cold, steak was hot (and tasty), gravy was warm because of the hot steak. Sausage scramble had no sausage in it and cold potatoes and eggs. Coffee was weak. Service was ok. Didn’t finish our meals, after an hour being there we had to go. If you are young and ‘cool’, just care about ambiance, this place is for you. If you expect good attentive service (as we couldn’t even make eye contact with our server) and food this is not your place. I was super bummed as we enjoy going out for Sunday breakfasts. As a previous restaurant owner a good floor manager would make sure guests know the wait time and handle table seating/ordering properly and I would be appalled at the kitchen for sending out...
Read moreWe came here after traveling all day, with our 3 kids. The restaurant was COMPLETELY empty, minus a couple tables outside and a bar full of guys. We ordered appetizers and didn't even get them until AFTER OUR FOOD came out, our appetizer order was chips and cheese and poutine (I didn't know it took so long to warm up some cheese and put some chips on a plate)!! I ordered the tacos and they were freezing cold along with the rice and beans. It took them almost 1.5 hrs to get our full meal. I want to make it clear that our waitress was amazing!!! She kept going back to the kitchen and seeing what was going on. The guy working in the kitchen wasn't there more than half the time (we had direct site to the kitchen). Again, the waitress was amazing! I'm not normally one to leave reviews but after tonight, I will never be coming back if that same guy is in the kitchen (older guy with glasses). I recommend seeing who is working in the kitchen before...
Read moreThis place seems to prioritize vibe over flavor, with the exception of their drinks.
We started with the Hummus plate and Brussel Sprouts. While neither was offensive, neither was particularly tasty.
The entrees followed suit. I had Sweet Tea Chicken Tenders, one friend had a ranch chicken salad, another had a Chicken Wrap, and our fourth ordered a rice and beans bowl I can't recall the name of.
We all shared the same underwhelming reaction: "Meh." While I can't speak to the specific flavors of everyone's meal, the claim that the chicken was brined in sweet tea seemed far-fetched. It was perhaps the least flavorful fried chicken I've ever encountered – not bad, but it could have easily been boiled.
The drinks, however, were a highlight. I enjoyed a Montanan, the ladies had a couple of Orchids, and my buddy had another large drink that he said was good.
So, if you're hungry, eat beforehand. If you're thirsty,...
