I really wanted to love this place, I've been to Great Falls a handful of times and never got the chance to go here. I finally did last night and unfortunately brought family. First complaint has to do with ventilation. I understand that this is a pizza joint with hot ovens, but dear god does it need ventilation if you sit in the upper area above the kitchen. Second has to do with servers. I understand there is a worker shortage in the states right now, but servers were bouncing all over the place and it was very chaotic. One server had so much going on, she looked as if she was going to burst into tears. It took 25 minutes for me to get a refill on a beer and they totally lost my wife's salad order. When she finally got her salad, everyone else had finished their food and we were ready to go.
Also, the fact that they don't update their drink menu which is poorly printed on a normal piece of paper is sad. You're drawing in what seems to be a pretty massive crowd. You should be able to afford to reprint menus when you switch out ciders and add things.
All in all, the food is fantastic. Takeout would have probably been a better option but we were visiting from out of town and wanted to sit down at a restaurant. Again, I'm very bummed out I have to give this such a low review. Hopefully things change in the...
Read moreSolely Food Review: I think this is a cute little pub and seems to have a nice atmosphere/good location. Cute little outside seating area in the warmer months too. But I'm not a brew drinker so I'm simply reviewing the food- which I've decided I'm not fond of personally. I've tried them 2 separate times and my husband 3 separate times and I think we've decided they won't remain on our restaurant rotation list unfortunately. I did like the Mexican street corn dip appetizer but I am not a fan at all of their standard pizza crust and by default their cheesesticks. Perhaps I need to try their deep dish crust but their standard crust is just too chewy/tough (and I do believe I had a fresh pizza). I think their varied pizza types/toppings are very intriguing but unfortunately if you don't have a good crust the toppings really don't matter. This is just my opinion- I'm sure there are plenty of people who enjoy their food but I've found myself feeling disappointed after all my attempts so it's just not worth the cost anymore ($70 for 2 regular pizzas and 2 appetizers). I appreciate having them in town amd I think it's a great place for meetings/get together. Just not a fan of the food...
Read moreHands down, the best brewery/pizza place in town. Whether you are visiting Great Falls or plan on being a regular, this is your must hit up spot. There are some TV’s for catching games but this is primarily your local watering hole for having great talks.
PRO’s: -BEER. You won’t be disappointed with any of their brews as they have a well rounded selection, but your best bets are gonna be trying any variation of the Cloudblast, the Lip Ripper, and the Dam Fog. -FOOD. They have appetizers and various foods, but if you are here for anything but pizza you’re wrong. I highly recommend the Hot Hawaiian. -STAFF. I don’t know how they consistently find such good staff when the rest of Great Falls struggles in many areas still. Good people with good customer service skills.
CON’s: -CREATIVITY? It’s been a minute since I’ve seen some food or drink variations come through here, but maybe they are thinking “why mess with a good thing”? -DOWNTOWN PARKING. Just part of the struggle of being in the downtown, parking around the Mo can be difficult...
