Love feeding the ducks. Bring salt-free inshell peanuts for the squirrels and cracked corn for the ducks (cracked corn is much healthier than bread for the animals). (I get my cracked corn, a 50 pound bag, from North 40, but they offer smaller quantities-they sell peanuts too). At the far right end just before the basketball court there is a place to excercise. At the far left side is a playground with swings for small children under 10. There is a good walking trail there that extends around the park for those who want a...

Great place to for for a long walk, enjoy the birds, picnicking, etc. Also during the spring/summer the flower garden area is wonderful! The night scene at the pond is also pretty with the glowing fountain. The only thing that bothers me is that they dye the water blue. I'm sure there is reasons for it beside coloring the water... But being so close to the river it seems that there could have been a way to cycle fresh water...

I really love this park. Grab a slushie from the snack shack and feed the waterfowl or get some exercise on the path surrounding the park. On the weekends there are usually events happening around the amphitheater and plenty of art and history throughout the trails. Stop by the flower gardens for a picnic or to take some gorgeous family photos after playing at the park. A really nice place for a...

Gibson Park is a Great Falls staple. Located close to downtown, it's large with scattered picnic tables throughout. It has what I think of is a North/South layout. The North dedicated to the pond with lots of waterfowl Birds and the South general park area. Dividing the N/S is kids jungle jim, concessions ect. Great walk track with access to the Missouri. Dogs on leashes aloud.

Beautiful park, lots of space with plenty of parking. We stopped in to take our dog for a walk on our way back home to ND from Glacier National Park. There were a lot of people at the park, walking their pets and kids playing. Grass was nice and green. Our little dog loved the place if we loved in the area we'd take him here for his walks
