It's a park for everyone. You can feed the ducks at the pond. With bread, oatmeal, cereal. They reopened the food court stand. They sell yummy cheap, affordable. Drinks, food, snacks, and duck food. Stage to enjoy live performances or just to have fun on. Two different playgrounds across easchother. One for older kids up to twelve and one for kids as young as three. They have tons of swings for all ages. They have a outdoor chest/checkers board along the trail. They have a great trail to walk. And a decent basketball court. Amazing and beautiful place to have BBQ or lunch with grills and amazing flowers in the spring and summer. If you go through the tunnel on the trail you will be on the other side of Gibson that has a skate park, horseshoes, and another playground with tables with a roof over them and right next to that is a tennis court. Just amazing veiws, great people, and tons of different animals. If u go late u can find pug nosed bats. If u go in the afternoon in the pond u can find Koi Fish and turtles....

There are so many water birds there to feed and watch. Don't bring bread to feed, as this causes stomach issues. The food you can buy is only 75 cents a bag. They can eat a lot of different fruits and veggies if the store is closed. There is a lot of resources online with bird friendly tips.
I just cannot express how fun it was to watch all the birds eating and quaking at us. I even fed one of the tamer ducks from my hand. Baby ducks were everywhere! So precious! Such a gem of a park. I wish I lived closer so I could visit...
