We love Al Banco! The avocado toast is fantastic! The ingredients are fresh! And, everything I have eaten here is well prepared and delicious. This is s local family owned coffee spot and eatery. They are serious about quality, and taking care of those who choose to be patrons. You are always made to feel welcome, and valued. The seating is varied, so you can dine at a table, or relax with friends on the chairs and couches. The music is good, and they are open to suggestions. It is a clean, comfy, tidy place to kick back, relax, and enjoy your time. And, again, the avocado toast is exceptional! Also, the barista is passionate about all things coffee, or coffee bean! He is intent on being knowledgeable about coffee beans, the process of creating awesome coffee flavor, and the variety of ways to get there. He is serious, and will talk with you about what flavors you are looking for, as well as showing you the techniques for creating coffee that you might want to explore. I honestly had no clue. And, I have enjoyed learning, and trying, new ways to create great flavors, and...

Lived for a few months in Great Falls, and felt like a fish out of water coming from a completely different culture and state. When I found this Al Banco, it felt almost like coming home. The coffee flavor was incredible, easily one of the best I've ever had in the entire Northwest, and the cookies and snacks were great too--especially the walnut cookies. It was my go-to trip for the week--when I wasn't snowed in :-) They really take their time--do not go if you only have a few minutes to grab a coffee--their focus is on quality and personal service, not speed or instant brew. At the time, they were roasting their coffees in-house, and one of the owners--the guy who roasts the coffee whose name I've unfortunately forgotten but think it was Jesse--spent at least an hour, maybe two, letting me watch him roast and explaining to me all the steps and the logic behind it. Was an amazing experience, and Al Banco was one of the positive highlights of my brief sojourn in Montana. If I"m ever there again, will be one of the first...

A small coffee shop/bistro tucked back in between buildings offering a spacious patio with some greenery and rustic vibes. While the wooden menu has few options, the quality of each item is on point. I got the Greek yogurt and granola, all local and homemade of course, and it has to be one of the best I've ever had. The spices in the granola and the wholesomeness of the Greek yogurt with a touch of honey on top was absolutely delightful. Their coffee is just as good. I usually love to load my iced latte up with sugary flavorings so I was a little disappointed to see only 3 flavors on the board. But don't let that deter you! They make a killer coffee that tastes good and feels good! I would absolutely recommend this coffee shop and I...

Great little coffee shop, they even have a few different snacks and some sandwiches to choose from. The owner is very caring and wanting to make sure everybody has a nice experience. This type of coffee is quite special, as it seems to be easier for those that have acid reflux, give it a shot! I figured I'd add some photos because some of the older photos of the shop were based in its old location, so with these new photos you can see what the seating environment is like 🙂. This is a shared place, so during the morning and day, it's the coffee shop, in the evening it turns into a little bar area.

I graduated from Great Falls many years ago, and only return because of family. I’m always on the hunt for some jewels to make the trip more pleasant. Imagine my glee to find a beautiful new shop with obsessively crafted coffee and food. ❤️ Jake’s crustless quiche was fantastic. Jesse’s espresso and pour overs delighted me.... Jesse is also fantastic at working with his customers, deftly and gently engaging the unexpected line of people who appeared early on a Monday. Al Banco is a treasure for The Electric City. Help it to thrive!
