I'll start off first by saying our coffee was delicious and so was the blueberry muffin. That's where the positives of our experience end. We came in for breakfast on Saturday morning before heading to the Farmer's Market. I ordered the American Breakfast with over medium eggs, my wife ordered the Eggs Benedict, and we ordered a ham/egg scramble with potatoes for my 2 yr old daughter. My wife specifically asked that her poached eggs be cooked to medium so that there were no runny whites. When we received our food, it looked okay, but my wife's first bite into her Benedict revealed under cooked eggs with lots of runny whites and a cold hollandaise sauce. My daughter's scrambled egg was undercooked with tons of runny whites as well. My fried eggs were over easy at best. I am not as squeamish about under cooked eggs as my wife so that didn't turn me off as much, but my breakfast potatoes were all but unseasoned and barely warm. My toast was a heel of the loaf, over-toasted and dry, with no butter or jam provided. I couldn't add enough salt and pepper to my eggs/potatoes to make them edible so I left half of them on my plate. The service was all but atrocious as well. After receiving our food, the server never stopped by again to ask us how our meal was. If she had, I would have given her an earful. Unfortunately, this establishment asks for a tip on their Ipad when paying after ordering at the counter. I foolishly gave a 20% tip before any service was provided. I won't make that mistake again. In fact, I will likely not make the mistake of ever going back here at all. While their coffee was very good, there are plenty of other great places in Great Falls to get coffee, good food, AND good service, not just...
Read moreI am happy to express how much this business has to offer. I recommend this coffee place to everyone. The atmosphere is classy, the workers are engaging and during this time of covid it has a way of making it feel like it is a safe place to go, and very welcoming-a safe place to go to escape the crazy events that have been going on this year. I have lived in Butte my whole life and they pride themselves for ensuring that the people in the community only support local businesses. Moving to Great Falls for college was a hard adjustment because when I came to this town, all I ever saw or heard from people around campus and professors were always recommending chain restaurants, and I felt like Great Falls has this amazing potential, which now that I have been here longer I have searched for those unique, lovely, and local businesses because they always make me feel like I am at home there. Due to supporting places that are either little hole in the walls or just have that special place where you can go with family, friends, or just alone is what I keep my look out for. Supporting local businesses is a significant quality that my parents instilled in me, and it is not something I ever regret. Those are the shops and restaurants that built the business from the ground and up. This place has so much to offer and all of the owners work hard to add something new to the treats and food everyday. The food is the best and I feel it is priced reasonably. It is a healthier option and the art and decorations make it a great attraction for...
Read moreExtraordinary prices require extraordinary service.... having heard so much of this place I was left unimpressed when anticipation met reality. Everybody who works here is so bloody casual (manners of dress, professionalism, etiquette) it comes off as slovenly and disorganized with people randomly walking about in the kitchen. Nevertheless, the food leaves much to be desired.... the danish I had was dry, the chocolate \ peanut butter slice was oddly cut (on the petite side) a sliver really. My mom had ordered the cobb salad it came with no accoutrements. I had to go back and ask for cutlery, salt, pepper, and straws for our drinks (the basics that the server should have taken care of from jump). The server was keen on asking for tip up front, but had I known how bad the quality was no tip would have been given. What happened to all the urbane and cosmopolitan gentleman with pompadours and man buns who wore fine dress shirts and slacks? Where was the sophisticated ambient music? What happened to the attention to detail and quality of service? Instead, everything is muffled by the sound of crying babies, idle chatter from servers, subpar music and atmosphere, disheveled, non-hairnet wearing ladies who look like they just rolled out of bed. If this place wants to distinguish itself as high-class it needs to do...
