On 6/21 at 6:15pm (I still have the receipt) I had and order of a Large Mocha Moolatte with no whipped cream and a Large Chocolate Shake. Chocolate shake was fine, but when was handed the Moolatte it had whipped cream. So I pointed out that I ordered without (which it even has on my receipt) and the kid said he was sorry and took it back in. I watched them just scrape off the whipped cream ( which isn’t ideal, but I didn’t bother with it) and went home. Took a drink of the Moolatte and it was sour! Not only that but it was a light color; I order them when I go to DQ and it just wasn’t right. Tried calling the store but I couldn’t get through just rang and rang. So waited and called later and talked to Tiffany, the manager, and she apologized and said it was probably the end of the barrel. She took my name and info and said I could come get a free one. So today 6/23 at 8pm I went back to get it. I was told that Tiffany didn’t write down the complaint and that I would have to come back when she was there. I asked when she would be there and the “supervisor” (I say that in quotes because she had NO customer service skills at all) said that she didn’t know “maybe” Friday. Of course I am in the drive thru line because the lobby isn’t open so I have to wait for the drive thru to get out. So I get up to the window and think I want to talk to the store manger or somebody above these “supervisors” because the first one I talked to apparently didn’t make any notes and the second didn’t know what was going on. So I asked to speak to the store manager. This “supervisor” tells me that I would have to wait to talk to her when she comes in, so I ask when will she be in and the lady tells me that she can’t give out that information. So now I want her number to call. She tells me she can’t give me that either. And I have to wait until Friday. I said is Friday when the Store Manager in and she says no Tiffany will be there on Friday. I said oh so she will be here for sure on Friday what time should I come? Is Tiffany the Store manager? Because that’s who I want to talk to. She says she can’t give out schedules. Then she SHUTS the WINDOW in my face! I sit there waiting for her or SOMEONE to come back and she just stands at the window with her arms crossed waiting for me to leave. I did leave I didn’t even cause a scene, because there were people in line just waiting for their order. This is unacceptable behavior from a manager! And DQ should be ashamed of themselves for allowing her to sully their name. Which she wouldn’t even provide me her name! And she...
Read moreOn March 3rd at 5:04 pm, I visited the Dairy Queen restaurant located at 116 9th St N. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of appalling due to the extremely poor customer service and lack of cleanliness. The most alarming issue was the fact that none of the cooks and servers were wearing gloves, which is a basic requirement in the food industry to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
I was horrified when I witnessed a young employee, who appeared to be in his early teens, touch an onion ring and a few fries that had fallen onto the standby counter with his bare hands. This same employee, along with many others, was not wearing a hair net, and their hair was flowing out through their hats as if they styled it that way on purpose. I could not identify the teen's name, but he had blonde hair, was above 5'9, and had medium-long hair that was sticking far out of his hat while serving and touching food with his bare hands.
The cashier seemed well-intentioned but mistakenly gave my food to another table. The table inspected the food with their bare hands and handed it back to the cashier, who along with the teenage employee, looked through the food with no gloves on and tried to deliver it back to me. I was repulsed by the lack of hygiene that everyone displayed in the kitchen. The fact that employees were touching food with bare hands and not wearing gloves is a serious health concern.
I politely requested a refund and was glad that it was issued promptly. However, this does not compensate for the lack of cleanliness and respect for the food they are serving to customers. The uncleanliness of the kitchen and the disregard for food safety are disgusting, and I will never eat at this location again until these issues are corrected. It is frightening to think that this may be a common occurrence and that customers at the drive-thru may not see how their food is being handled. I urge everyone to stay away from this location until these hygiene issues...
Read moreIt's not the food it's the work environment. I was recently hired on knowing I have medical issues both physical and mentally and that I have panic attacks at times. Also it has been over a year since I worked a job.
The other day I had a dizzy spell and feeling lightheaded at the same time. I was asked if I was ok and I said to be honest no. I told the truth of what I was feeling and the GM Wolf sent me home and then took it upon himself to cover my two shifts yesterday and today and decided not to put me on the schedule with his reasons being
I'm missing too much work when I was only scheduled to work 20 hours a week due to my schedule with mental health appointments at Many Rivers and my regular doctor's at Benefis Family.
Because I mentioned to other coworkers how I struggled with following my doctors orders on medication before I got back on medical insurance.
I did turn in a doctor's note that released me to work on the 12th of this month since I fell ill with diarrhea and such. He assumed I was still not taking my medicine correctly and that I was ignoring what my doctors have told me. When I told him that I had it under control that I can work he still refused saying I need your doctor to confirm that you are taking your medicine accordingly and correct. I also feel with me going home early so to my medical issues that he hired me knowing I had all of these issues.
I feel like he forced me to say the words I quit.
I am also guilty of doing this so forgive me because if I did I was being slow and not holding up to the standards.
