Fire Artisan Pizza — Restaurant in Great Falls

The food is great ! There differently is not enough staff to work the busy hours. Most of the staff are friendly and greet you but can not multi task. My issues is with take out. My husband and I have called now twice for pick up and each time we were told they aren't busy. This is about 11:45 and with staff telling us they are slow. The first time we called in and went 20 minutes later to get our food like we were quoted. Well 20 minutes wasn't the case. 45 minutes after we called we got our food. it gave us 10 minutes to eat and then go back to work. so we made a complaint,no manager in sight or if there was they didn't take the time to come speak with us. We were given a gift card of $5.00!! We spent 20.00. We waited 45 minutes after a call in to get our food. Friday we called our order in for pick up and again was told 25 minutes. We get there about 30 minutes later and our food has been sitting for 15 minutes cold! I again asked for the manager who is apparently never around. I called and left a message and got no return call. So with this being said the service is lousy, but the food is good. They have lost my business since I cant get a hold of a manager and feel as they really don't care. Pick up orders should be handled just the same as a sit down and to have to wait 45 minutes to get your order to go is poor time management. What a shame! Ordered online at 5:43 pm. Said it would be ready at 6:43 pm. I showed up at 6:45 to pick up the order. When I went in to ask if it was ready & they took 5 minutes just to tell me not yet. They hadn't even started. I told them I had kids in the car and asked if they could just bring it out. They told me it'd be 10 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, a girl came out & said they were out of the soup. Since I already paid online, I just told her she could double the appetizer or give us extra bread to replace it. After waiting for a total of 35 minutes (after the order was supposed to be ready), I finally got my food. But no soup or a replacement for it.

I've been to the restaurant before & remembered the food being good. That was not the case this time. 😕 The only thing that was good was the bruchetta. The pizzas were overloaded in the middle & empty on the edges & the artichoke dip was cold when I got it.

I'm definitely disappointed. It was rated pretty high on Google reviews, but I was not impressed. The service took a long time to get started, and there were only a few people in there to be served. (It didn't really pick up from there.) I ate almost my entire meal before getting someone to come refill my drink. Speaking of meals... the pizza was not in any way delicious. The crust was a letdown, too soggy in the middle, and lacked the buttery, chewy flavor-texture combo a good oven fired pizza should have. They way overdid the toppings, which likely accounted for the soggy crust. It struck me as a place that tried to get outside the box with new flavors but went a few steps too far. The atmosphere was lacking the inviting feel expected for a pizza shop like this. The "Mod pizza" environment just leaves it feeling plastic and false. Definitely recommend sprucing it up a bit with a more local and authentic feel. I feel a bit bad to leave a tough review, but I truly feel it...
