Kerby's Koney Island — Restaurant in Green Oak Charter Township

Went there tonight. No one greeted us at the wait to be seated sign but then several minutes later despite no one else being in line, a grumpy man pointed at a booth and told us, in an unintelligible accent to take it. I had to ask him several times what he was saying and where it was he was pointing to. I sat there with our baby in my lap for five minutes until he at least came close enough for me to ask him for a high chair. 10 minutes later he came back to take our drink order and long story short, he was rude and short with us the entire time. I watched other families leaving upset. One family waited so long for their bill that they finally went to the counter for it. As the father took their children outside, the woman stood up front for another 5 minutes waiting for it. And as the icing on the cake, all our food tasted very obviously like it came off of dirty cooking surfaces. The toast tasted like a dirty toaster and my omelette tasted like a burnt flat top. If people are coming to spend their hard earned money at your establishment, the least you could do is allow them to have a halfway decent experience. When I walked up the waitress was outside smoking a cigarette and said oh go ahead and find a place anywhere..... Got weird looks when we walked in and just sat down. Granted there was only one other table with customers so we picked a place where we could look outside and watch our dog in the car. Very simple orders two different burgers I asked for chocolate milk and water and my daughter got lemonade. I only got water and absolutely not the burger I asked for however my daughters was fine that's why I left a dollar tip. Said nothing during the meal but my daughter said I should go back in because the bill seemed high for not getting what I asked for, got a dirty look from about the only three employees in the building when I walked in and said I just wanted to make sure I didn't get charged for the chocolate milk I didn't get and I let her know that I absolutely did not ask for a plane Burger and when she said oh that's my fault I said yes it was she said no you didn't get charged but she still did not offer me a receipt I will not return. DIRTY, DUSGUSTING & VERY UNPLEASANT! First my 2 year old and I walked into the bathroom. DISGUSTING! That should of been my sign to leave. But we had been on the go all day and thought we could get something to tide us over and overlooked the bathroom. Not ONE person greated us with a friendly hello or a smile. When asked if I could have a window seat to keep my daughter occupied ... i got all look at from the staff as if i was asking for a million dollars. With no word one the waitress stated walking ... i guess i should follow. Food was disgusting. Ordered a chicken gyro ... chicken tasted gamy and old. Baby great ... never seen a baby Greek that pathetic in my life. Was also afraid to use dressing. The bottled was all covered with old dressing on the outside and openening of bottle.
