Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Green

I loved this pizza and sides so much at first. As far as chain pizza goes this was really yummy, especially for garlic lovers. Unfortunately, they just had a knack for hiring excessively incompetent staff (older review). They were mostly friendly, but my order was mixed up or missing something every single time. The supervisors continuously provided store credit when I politely brought up my complaints, which was nice of them, but after the 6th time I gave up, used my remaining store credit, and stopped giving them my business. I ended up choose Zeppe's Pizzeria down the road as my new chain go-to (after trying a few other alternatives).

In a world where phone order people and cashiers have become so rude and thankless, ordering from this Hungry Howie's was such a refreshing experience! My order was taken by someone who was genuinely friendly, polite, accomodating and who expressed thanks for my calling them and then thanked me again for my order! The same for the delivery person! We haven’t had Hungry Howie’s in over a year, we were so excited to get the ranch crust on the pizza and stuffed howie bread. Pretty disappointed with how our order looked when we got home and also disappointed with how the employees handled it when we called in. There was raw dough under the cheese layer on the howie bread and no seasoning on our crust.
