I recently visited Sittoo’s and tried the Sittoo’s Combo. The platter included shish kebab, chicken shawarma, falafel, salad, pita bread, and rice pilaf. While the presentation was nice, there are definitely some areas for improvement.
The shish kebab had a good flavor but was a bit too chewy. The chicken shawarma was well-seasoned, but it didn’t seem as fresh as I’d hoped. On the bright side, the falafel was delicious, and the rice pilaf and salad complemented the meal nicely.
My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries. The fries were excellent, with a unique seasoning that he loved. The grilled chicken tenders had a nice flavor but were unfortunately quite dry.
One issue I noticed was the plate sizes; both mine and my son’s plates were too small, making it hard to enjoy the meal without food spilling over. Additionally, I visited at 1:30 PM, and some items seemed like they might have been prepared earlier during the lunch rush. I would have gladly waited 10 extra minutes for fresher food.
I love having a place like Sittoo’s in the neighborhood and truly want to support it. The flavors are promising, but there’s room for improvement in freshness and portion presentation. I’ll definitely be back and hope to see these small changes make a big difference!

Read moreI LOVED Sittoo's , I always told people to try it out, but I will never do that AGAIN! When Sittoo's opened in Parma Location, it was my go to place for good, healthy meals on a budget, those days are LOOOOOONG GONE. I was so excited to find Sittoo's in Akron area, but this is not the same Sittoo's. I Ordered a little bit of Everything, because i craved it and missed it sooo much. Falafel was grey and oily without any real flavor. Rice is overcooked and mush. Tabouli was dry and bland. ALL MEAT WAS DRY AND OVERCOOKED! Hummus is runny and tastes rancid. Even the pickled beets taste like nothing. The only good thing was the pitta bread, and it's not even made at Sittoo's. I spent 70$ on food that is bland and overcooked. I am extremely saddened to see Sittoo's fall so far. I wish them luck as a business, but i am never referring anyone to this...
Read moreThis was my second visit to Sittoos in Green, and I really wanted to love it because I’ve heard so many good things. Unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to the hype for me. I ordered the chicken shawarma pita, and the chicken was extremely dry. The pita bread itself didn’t taste fresh or fluffy — more cardboard-like than soft and warm.
The sauce inside the pita also missed the mark. I’m not sure exactly what the dominant flavor was (maybe dill?), but the balance of acidity to mayo/fat wasn’t right, and it just didn’t come together in a pleasant way. I normally love Greek dressings and Mediterranean flavors, so I was disappointed.
I really wish the quality matched the reputation because I want to enjoy this place, but based on my experiences so far, it just hasn’t...
