Wendy's — Restaurant in Greenacres

04/11/2024 @ 8:30pm Food was great as usual and love the dreamsicle frosty. The service is normally very high at this location. Tonight was the exception. I was not greeted with any level of kindness, appreciation, nor respect. I said hello to an employee that was walking toward the bathroom, and he just stared at me. Then I was provided with 5 ketchup packets for a large fry and small fry, which is fine. I asked for a refill because the #coca-cola machine was either turned off or not operational, and the reply was a sigh as if it was an inconvenience. Although the gentleman was about to clean the tables, so ok. I said, no worries, maybe the person standing behind the counter (manager), whom was staring at me, could help. Since she was obviously doing NOTHING as she continued to stare at me with distain. All in all it was obvious that my presence was a complete inconvenience. I honestly believe that this is a management issue as her attitude disseminated down to the employees. That’s good for now. Read this please. Do not come to this Wendy’s at all, and if you do make sure they give you your receipt or make sure you order everything through the Wendy’s app and pick it up. When you order at this Wendy’s through their drive-through, the employees purposely do not give you your receipt because they charge all sorts of extra things without telling you. Like for example, if you order a combo, they will automatically make your combo a large, without telling you or even asking you; &, if you order a sandwich, whether with a combo or not, if this said sandwich doesn’t come with bacon or cheese, they will charge you for bacon and cheese on that sandwich without telling you. I once came here & ordered a crispy chicken sandwich meal, & they made the whole meal a large & put bacon & cheese on the sandwich when I literally didn’t ask them to. After you pay and they give you your food, like I said already they purposely do not give you your receipt so that you don’t know about all the extra things that they charged you. This Wendy's is run by ANIMALS. We drove thru last week and while waiting for our food there was pure CHAOS going on inside. Every other word was the "N" word being shouted at one another by the EMPLOYEES. No one had masks on and it felt more like we were buying CRACK in the hood,, than buying food from Wendy's. The guy who handed us our food said he was the "manager" but he did NOTHING to quiet down the animals who were preparing our food. If we got 10 cents for every time we heard the N word screamed by the employees there our meal would have been free. SERIOUSLY. THE OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS SHOULD TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY. You are supposed to be representing this franchise, not making Wendy's feel like a trip to a ghetto.
