Second Visit: We decided to give them a second chance. Bad idea.
The crew were absent and when they showed up, they were dour and rude. No one smiled at us even once, or greeted us, or thanked us for our business.
The Big Macs we special ordered with extra sauce were cold and the buns were dry. The fries were stale. There is never any ketchup available and when we asked for some we got 2 packets. When we asked for more the crew member seemed very put out by our request. And again, it was a ridiculous process to get a cup of water.
The restrooms were filthy and most of the tables were dirty. They were not even a little busy so there is no excuse for the filth.
This is our second time here and it was the same on our first visit. We'll be going to Hardee's across the street from now on.
First Visit: Newly renovated but still disorganized, dirty, and serving stale food.
We went for a snack to hold us over before dinner. We went inside and ordered. Considering no one else was in line, or even inside the place for that matter, it took a long time for them to let us order.
I had the value menu $1 cheeseburger. The buns were stale and dry. The meat was a semi-cold disk of dry burger. The whole thing was never hot as I could see from the not-even-close-to melting cheese.
I also ordered a cup of water, which takes forever to get. They no longer have a water dispenser at the soda machine, so someone behind the counter has to get it from the drive-through soda machine. Plus, they charge 15 cents for the cup. Seriously cheap corporate jerks squeezing every last dime from their patrons.
My husband ordered fries, which were at least warm. Plus, the ketchup dispenser was not empty, so score 1 point for McD's.
They have a lot of kids behind the counter yelling but no one is actually doing anything like serving the customers or cleaning. The floor was filthy.
The only thing I can say about our experience is that it reiterated why we don't go to McDonald's anymore. They seem to be following the Krystal Burger business model: just toss any crappy, cheap food at people and we'll be in too much of a hurry to notice their food is awful and...
Read moreMy experience at this McDonald's was not a joyous occasion. The visit began normal enough. However, after giving our order we took the cups to get our drinks. As my 2 daughters and wife get set down at the table we hear our order number called. When I get to the counter the happy meals for my kids are there but the food for my wife and I was already taken by someone else. I was then asked several times if I had already picked up the other food. To which I replied NO. So they remade the order. I took the kids meals to the table for them to begin eating while I waited for our food. They Finally finish and handed me the food. I return to the table and begin to separate the food to eat, when my wife bites into a fry and says they would be better if they were hot! I said they are not hot? And checked them my self, sure enough, luke warm, at best! So I take them back to the counter and tell them i want HOT fries! They made them, but while waiting for them I noticed how many workers were there and the efficiency going on in the store.
One worker in particular was a girl slowly getting down on the floor, on a flattened box, near the sandwich staging area at the end of the make table with a cleaning rag and a spray bottle. This girl just sat there for a while looking around and doing nothing. Then finally, began to wipe a small area near the botton front corner of the stainless table. She did finally sort of spray that corner and lazily wiped at, but only that corner. Not the whole side of the table, just that little area that was smaller than her cleaning rag. Then I see that they are hiring workers starting at $11.00 hr. Wow! If that is the quality of work I were to perform! I would; A. be embarrassed, and B. Would be FIRED, and rightfully so!
I finally got my fries and went back to my table to eat what now was a luke warm sandwich! This place was not that busy and had a full staff working! No legit reason for this kind of service! If it were not for the quick actions of an elderly woman working there to rectify the problem it would have been 1 star! Needless to say, I dont think I will go back...
Read moreWe are new to town, after trying this McDonald's multiple times we won't be returning to this specific location. The frys are never cooked and the drive through operators are very rude. Went in on 10/26 around 11Am-12 and the person on the intercom was in such a hurry she kept messing up our order and not listening, they weren't busy at this time. She added exstra cheese, this costs almost 2$ exstra, we asked for exstra pickles. When we got to the first window it was a different person and they corrected the order. After waiting 5-8 exstra minutes at the end of the drive-through, we finally got our food and they made the order wrong. They still put exstra cheese on 2 burgers we didn't want or ask for that. They did put exstra pickles but my bun was so soggy it was like they ran it under a faucet before giving it to me. I have never received a bun so exstramly wet and soggy from a fast food joint or restaurant EVER, it was obviously intentional. There was no way at all that by adding pickles the bun would be drenched and only 1 of the burgers was like this. It wasn't our fault they messed up the order, we tried to correct the issue. I am absolutely astonished that they just threw pickles on it, got it wet and called it a day. The order should have been remade we even waited an exstra 5+ minutes because the order wasn't ready, assuming they were remaking it. I didn't eat it and don't trust these people working here. They have signs on there widows saying to talk to them if theirs an issue doesn't make sense when I'm 25min away at home and all they are going to tell me is to come back and they will fix it. Tired of giving them chances, waste of...
