Location not optimal, orders not always accurate or timely. Lancaster is my hometown and I came back from DC for a month after a surgery in Cleveland. I was excited that the area now has a Starbucks location. Unfortunately, time after time, the service has been slow and occasionally inaccurate. For example, this last Tuesday at 12:47, I pulled into the drive thru with no more than five vehicles in front of me. At 1:06, I got my drink, after maneuvering out of the intersection, which was backed up with vehicles to the right of me that had come from the lot behind the strip center, as well as vehicles trying to get out from the left and parking area in front, I pulled up to next signal light to discover my drink was wrong. At that point I really didn't want to go back, but after all of that time, not to mention, money, I decided I had to. After going back, through the same signal lights and the same traffic I'd just gotten out of, I went in, they knew I'd gotten the wrong drink and tried to give me the one they should have, but set aside. I told them I wanted a fresh one and they seemed annoyed by my wanting what I'd asked for to be fresh and not having sat for nearly 10 minutes already. Nobody apologized, for the wait, for the mistake, nor bothered to thank me for my patience or business. At 1:23, I FINALLY had what I ordered. That's 35 minutes. Unacceptable. This was the worst incident but not the only. While not everyone there has a bad attitude, or works inefficiently, it's a great enough percentage to negatively impact the experience more often than not. Read more(Friendly service originally) as I used to come in every morning. Now its only on occasion .Due to rude staff on a Sunday morning on the bald male manager's shift. I got 2 pink drinks one with matcha form and one regular pink Drink. The regular pink Drink was white due to oversaturation of coconut milk and incorrect measurement of other ingredients. I asked the girl who made the drinks. If I could get them remade the correct way instead she argued with me until I called the manager over he said no problem just have them remade. I told him that I had asked that but instead was met with arguing then she tried to Gaslight me and say that she wasn't arguing with me.. if that's the fact my drink would have already been made.. after that instead of just remaking my drinks like a child she chose to stay behind the counter and Whisper about me to her co-workers about how she'd like to punch me in the face.
However today I called before making my mobile order today and spoke with Lily she was a pleasure listened to my concerns and made my drinks the correct way. Thank you lily! I've also contacted corporate about this incident...
Read moreI’ve been going to this Starbucks for years now and normally I never have issues and the early morning crew is fantastic but today I went in and I ordered my coffee which I understand is a little complicated but that’s the beauty of Starbucks, you’re capable of customizing your order in any way possible that you could want.
Not only was I not greeted which is totally fine but it felt like my presence was an annoyance. And then when it came time to get my drink made, the barista Barrett misread my order on the cup and messed it up and then when he confirmed with the barista that took my order and realize he had messed up, he rolled his eyes threw the drink in the sink started over sighed really loud.
Perception is reality and it felt like I was impeding on his already busy day by wanting coffee. I can customer service to and I know what it’s like to be slammed and not feel like you can catch up but that doesn’t give anybody the right to be rude when I was clearly giving back apologetic vibes for my difficult daughter.
Besides my 4:30 AM coffee runs I think I’ll be taking my Starbucks business to another location...
