Horrible 1st time experience! My husband & I ordered online a 16' sub at 9:01pm this evening. The food did not arrive until 10:13pm. "The Fastest?" I think not! Our delivery driver who was a female, called 20min prior to her arrival stating her gps got her lost. Huh? This stores location is exactly 0.8 miles away for our townhouse. No worries though, my husband at that moment politely gave detailed instructions on how to get to us. From her excat location then, she should have been to us in 5min, 7min tops. 15 min goes by and my husband called her cell again, she finally answered on the 4th call. Now she was 10 min away! 🤔 The young lady stated her gps took her another way again, she is not familiar with Greensboro, she is just filling in for someone else, it's really dark so she can't see the street signs, plus everyone is driving with their bright lights on.🤨 Frustrated at this point, my husband gives her detailed instructions again but this time he stays on the phone with her until she is basically 3 min away. Jimmy John's please do not send out drivers who are not capable of driving at night. This is such a disappointment for supposedly the fastest sub delivery, especially when the location of the store is 0.8 miles away. My husband ate the sub that took an 1hr and 10min to get here, he said it was ok, I ordered Dom instead. I waited for him to get his food before I ate my food though.😶 We won't...
Read moreWish I can give the store 0 Stars. Visited June 17, 2021. They are rude and unprofessional. The cashier was unknownable about the menu as she kept asking about the sandwiches. As I finished my order I asked that they change their gloves because of my allergies to tomatoes especially because they had just finished the first sandwich in my order which had tomatoes on it. The first person on the line said " Ugh I will not touch her sandwich but she was already making it. The other 2 sandwich makers did not move from their spots to even change their gloves. And when I said something about it they had attitudes like I inconvenience them. When I went to my car I came back in with the sandwich to get a refund with the package still sealed they offered to make me another. I declined it because they didn't change their gloves the first time. So I didn't want to risk ending up in hospital. They still declined. No manager came in to resolve problem. Then as I sat in my car to find the corporate number the male sandwich maker came to the door with the gloves on his hands and when a customer went in to order their food he went straight to the back to begin to construction the customers sandwich without washing hands or changing gloves. Just gross. Health violation. They need to be trained in the seriousness of contaminants, allergens and over all...
Read moreI called to place an order for pick up and the girl on the phone was rushing me , speaking while I was speaking, got my order wrong and did not want to repeat it back to me when asked.. the call then went silent and a “manager” got on the phone I let her know that the employee I was speaking to was rude. The manager then said no she was not what can I get for you? So I asked her to repeat my order and it was incorrect. I then corrected it and she still spoke it back wrong. She asked if that would complete my order and we ended the call. I called back and canceled my order so I could come in and watch my food be made after that. The man at the register was so pleasant and attentive and took my order correctly the first time. I complimented him for his service and the manager started arguing with me. She stated she wasn’t gonna let me talk about her employees , said I need to get some… , continued to tell me to leave while I was still getting my sandwiches and drinks, was cussing at me, and told me I can’t come back after refusing to provide higher management info. She was extremely unprofessional and handled the situation horribly. She was very disrespectful.. I love Jimmy John’s .. but the “manager” at the gate city location was terrible and it made my experience there...
