I had the pleasure of going to this bakery today. I had been excited to visit every since they opened up this location, which is really conveniently placed near my work. Upon first impression, I love the aesthetics of the shop. It is very bright and the other products they have in the store are delightful. I personally love Candy's Tea and I am so glad I can buy it somewhere besides the Curb Market on Elam and Walker. I also love that they had whole coffee beans in bags and in jars. It is just adorable. The sweets and treats all look wonderful. I had gotten a 16 oz. Vanilla Caramel Frappe and a Red Velvet Cupcake with pretty, light edible glitter on top. I was happy with the price, which was right around 5 bucks for both! The young lady who assisted me was very kind, patient, and considerate, offering help as I needed. She also packed my cupcake into a cute little bag with napkins. I only had few issues. The first was that the cupcake was not red velvet like I thought. I might have been a yellow cake with red dye, but I can't say for sure. It was, however, pleasantly moist and delightful to eat. The frosting was a bit too artificially sweet tasting for my liking and left a weird coating in my mouth. The second is that the frappe needs a bit more espresso and less sugary syrup. I see this as more of a personal preference really, so if you like sweet frappes, then this is the a go-to! My last issue is that the menu on the TV screens change really quickly so it is hard to read and browse it to make a choice. The menu is available online but, if I was just walking by and tried to get something, it would be difficult for me to catch the options. Luckily, everything is mostly available in the case and within eye's view. I will definitely be back because the storefront is so adorable, the staff are a delight, and I would love to try some of the other options, plus pick up some of the merchandise and products outside of the cases. Thank you so much and I am so glad you are in this location!

A family feel to a savory restaurant. UPDATE 5/8/25: Today I went in and had the worse experience of my life. There's an employee or in her words the "owner's daughter" named Rebekah that made me remove my name off the VIP Club list. What did she do? I'm glad you asked!!! There's a new employee, she has black hair with purple on the top, very sweet girl, asked a question, in the process of me answering Rebekah cuts me off and proceed to talk as if she didn't hear me talk, THEN left her keys and air pods in the bathroom and came out accusing others of taking them without the accusations but the tone. You know I've sent quite a few referrals to the business and as of today I resend all the referrals and tell you the taste of Grandma cakes isn't worth the rudeness that was displayed today.

I was very impressed with this small bakery. We attended one of their homeschool activities and I was amazed at the amount of craft activities offered for only $1....yes that's right $1 total. Tonya, the owner was kind, attentive and welcoming to every family that walked through the door. She took time to get to know everyone and have conversations with everyone. And did I mention they gave away free samples of a pumpkin spice milkshake which was delicious! This is definitely a family owned business that offers a personal touch. I look forward to attending more events and going to them for future cake and bakery need. Last thing, the environment is kid and family friendly offering tons of free games and activities to do while enjoying your sweets!

As bad as I wanted to write a good review for this black owned business I just can’t 🤦🏽‍♀️ for starters, on google they have it listed as if they have a location in high point on Eastchester which isn’t up and running it’s strictly for cater orders but I wanted to try them so bad that we decided to drive 25 mins out to Greensboro. Upon entering the ambiance was pretty nice, clean, good music and was greeted although this is where issues started occurring . The white lady taking orders on this day 6/29/2025 was not helpful at all honestly being that it was our first time we were extremely confused and was hoping for more insight or some type of suggestions. The place is small and was pretty packed which made it kindve intimidating to ask questions / order . After we ordered we waited for over an hour literally for two pieces of cheesecake with people who came after us leaving before and doordashers becoming first priority over a customer who was already present . Once we were finally acknowledged by “Austin” I believe his name is (black younger guy with glasses) we were told their was a glitch in their system which I understand mistakes happen but geez we could’ve been informed an hr ago about that….. when it came down to getting our orders made they couldn’t find what we ordered 🤦🏽‍♀️ it was truly a big mess . Austin did give complimentary drinks & a complimentary short cake. I recommend working on your service big time! Accuracy as well as timely manner and I think this business would really flourish! Also, work on organization it’s confusing on how to order who’s waiting VS who paid etc. I don’t think I will ever patronize this business again or if I do it won’t be for a while this...

We went to this beautiful find right before going to a concert at the Greensboro Coliseum. They're right across the street, so you can park and walk over while you wait for your event to start.

Let me start by saying that the food was DELICIOUS. The cupcakes we ordered (vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, with vanilla and chocolate buttercream, in all four combinations) were cooked perfectly, moist, and flavorful. When you order the cupcakes, it's a "build your own". They're not in the display case -- they list the cake flavors of the day on a board, and the icing flavors, and you can do what you want with them, and they were just slightly warm (just barely -- not enough to melt the icing) when they came out.

We also had chocolate pound cake, a brownie, a cake sundae (you have to try these -- layers of cake pieces, some sort of pastry cream, whipped cream, plus whatever toppings you want -- chocolate fudge, sprinkles, syrup, whatever) and a brownie sundae (see cake sundae). The sundaes alone were worth the trip. Lest I sound like a serious glutton -- we took most home with us, and this was really a sampling trip :-)

The proprietor was amazing, answering all of our questions and just being the epitome of charm and hospitality, and her daughters were managing the register and passing out the food. They were all super friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

They'll definitely get our repeat business, even though we live 90...
