Starting off with the pros, the vibe and DJ was super fun. Lots of places to take cute pics. While the food tasted great, I’ve never been to a restaurant where my drinks took longer to come out than the food did. This leads to my cons… by the time we got our drinks, they were watered down. We stepped away for 3 minutes to take pics and when we came back, our table was cleared off. Including our UNFINISHED drinks. While the guy was super apologetic, it was still disappointing. We asked Zee our waitress, for a shot just to make up for our drinks being taken… not knowing we’d still be charged for something that wasn’t our fault. We asked if the shots could be removed from the bill and she said no. Granted the incident was an accident, but still unfair that we had to pay for something that wasn’t our fault. Let me start by saying that this wine bar has a very nice atmosphere. The staff was nice and the food was pretty good. Just a couple of problems, the space was freezing. There was a tiny space heater but the waiter felt like he should have complete access to it while playing on his phone at the bar. The next problem was that the venue was running a "date night" special which included a bottle of wine, hookah and select charcuterie board for $85. This is what I ordered but when the check came the bill was $110.00! That was my biggest problem. Be clear on pricing. Don't advertise for one price and then charge a different price. Terrible. Trust Wine Bar is the vibe young Black professionals deserve! Chic, warm, and welcoming with great prices. The food is top tier—crab stuffed mushrooms, egg rolls, and the Pink Papi are must-tries!
