We made reservations for this establishment for 7/13 @ 2:15 for 10. We were greeted and seated immediately. After that it was all down hill! Our waitress didn’t greet us for 20 minutes. Once she came to the table, everyone was ready with drink, appetizer, and main course orders. She took everything at one time. Afterward the server returned 20 minutes later to let us know that we must have been looking at an old menu and would need to replace the starter (crab cake egg rolls). During this time we still had not yet received any of our drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). Once drinks were finally received an hour after we were seated, two members of our party sent back sodas because they were flat. Two others had to send back their alcoholic beverages because their glasses were not cleaned. After speaking with the manager, he stated that the kitchen was backed up due to death in the family of the owner and one of their cooks being apart of the owners family. Trying to be understanding of the situation, we waited. After 2 HOURS we were fed up, some appetizers made it to the table, others did not. The lemon pepper salmon bites were dry and tasted like jerky. One member of our party was instantly ill after eating the Mac & Cheese egg roll that replaced the crab cake egg roll. The server was aggravated with us asking her questions and made statements such as, “I wish I could replicate myself but I’m only one person” and “We are not talking about your grits right now, we are talking about the people that ordered the Hot Honey Shrimp”. We were all absolutely appalled at the way we were spoken to, the service we were receiving, and the lack of professionalism of this establishment! We had enough, decided to pay for what we did receive and leave. The server originally refused to take the items we did not receive off the bill expecting us to pay an almost $600 bill for piss poor service, partial starters, and the 4 drinks we actually consumed. Once again we had to get the manager involved to get the billing situation straightened out. Read moreI will first like to start off with the positive things it is a beautiful place the decor is fabulous it has a lot of great places to take pictures and make memories however the lady at the front desk was not very friendly she wasn't rude but she didn't have a welcoming attitude .when we got there we couldn't be seated until our whole party was there which I'm quite sure is just their procedure and I don't have a problem with it but we should be able to be seated when we arrive as long as someone in the party is on time now this is where it gets a little bit tricky once we were finally seated and I do have a emphasis on finally we waited about another 30 minutes before any waiter or member of their staff came to our table we actually had to stop two young ladies that happened to be walking by to see who was our server and when was they coming. The food was delicious but I can definitely say they are scamming charging $16 for two chicken wings and two waffles that are not even the size of CDs The Soul rolls didn't have any soul. All you could taste was cinnamon you couldn't taste the mac and cheese you couldn't taste the collards you couldn't taste the turkey All you tasted was cinnamon everything was hot and fresh but the chicken wings didn't have any seasoning and they did not taste fresh they definitely tasted like they were on their way out they were plain fried no batter no seasoning no crust.. The drink tower is definitely not worth the $75 that they charge and they don't fill it up to the rim how are you charging $75 for a tower and not put a entire bottle of liquor in it they give you more ice and juice than alcohol. I did enjoy myself and the DJ was hitting but they might need to rethink some of the price points on some of the items you can definitely tell that this establishment is being ran by young folks. Read moreBEWARE!! TRUST IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!! If you looking for good customer service and hot food this isn’t the place. Went for a friend’s birthday who made reservations for a party of 30. My friend spoken to a manager months in advance and was given instructions how to reserve for her party. Reservations were booked and the day of when everyone showed up it was a disaster. They separated the party on opposite sides of restaurant. Had some of the party waiting downstairs. Was not accommodating the party by sitting everyone together. The staff was arguing on how to accommodate in front of all the customers. Managers were very nonchalant and had a nasty attitude. Birthday girl got emotional, frustrated and upset about how her party was being handled. The guest from her party got frustrated from moving around by staff repeatedly. I attempted to ask who can we work this situation out and managers had no interest and was nasty about it. It got to the point were the birthday girl decided to leave and the managers verbalized that they didn’t care and it was fine. Some people had already placed their order when the group was split while the rest of the party was moving from table to table. The birthday girl had had enough and decided to leave. Most left and about 7 who ordered stayed. I stated to the owner that 30 people were about to leave how can we figure this out. He snugged his shoulders and said ok. Keep in mind we traveled to Greensboro. We went to another restaurant LUXE who accommodated the group. While dining at LUXE those who stayed at TRUST informed us that they still had not got their food 1 hour later. 2 people food entree came out cold and was sent back.
They also informed us that managers cursed out the staff in front of customers and it was the worst experience. Those who stayed ended up leaving going back home without eating while 1 came to LUXE to dine with us.THANKS TO LUXE for saving the day!!
