Union Coffee — Restaurant in Greensboro

Nice coffee shop that makes a delicious oat milk latte! The shop has a nice minimal, light-filled interior, friendly staff, cozy couch, large and small tables for laptop working.

However I was disappointed that they only have takeaway cups, no to-stay mugs. I always have a reusable cup on me but most people do not.

An estimated 50 billion coffee cups are thrown away each year in the US alone - it'd be great if businesses could try to be a little more caring for our planet. Excellent coffee shop! All the third wave quality, with none of the third wave pretension. Simple essentials menu, plus seasonal specials—including a pumpkin spice latte, which tells me that these folks invite everyone in, rather than only representing the high brow part of third wave coffee. Don’t get me wrong, they do that latter part extremely well, too! I had some of the best cold brew of my life, a really good shot of espresso, and a warm, welcoming experience. The staff was so kind and friendly! I ordered 2 pour overs to go and a Nutella croissant. When the pour overs were finished, one of the staff delivered it to my table. She informed me that one of the pour overs messed up and they were remaking it. She kindly apologized for the wait and hurried back to the bar. When the pour over was finished the other person working brought over the pour over along with an additional Nutella croissant as an apology/thank you for waiting.
