Rassame's Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Greensburg

We ordered this through DoorDash for an anniversary dinner at home. It was easily the most overpriced, bland Thai food that we've ever had. It was more expensive than we paid in places like LA and New York but the quality and the portions did not reflect that. The Panang curry (a must-try litmus test for new Thai places for us) was unbelievably watery, the veg were not fresh (you could almost taste freezer burn), and the sauce was bland, with very little flavor at all- we had to add our own spices to it to give it any flavor - and for nearly $18, it should have been incredible. The Noodle Hut wasn't much better. No depth of flavor at all, and massively overpriced.The satay was good (but cold) and the dumplings were tasty - but this was a massively disappointing and expensive meal. The food is hit or miss, somethings is good, and sometimes is almost inedible, which is quite frustrating when they are charging $15 for a Pad Thai. Staff is friendly, but the atmosphere could use some work. The worst of it all is the discrepancy on prices, don't assume that the price on the menu is going to be the price they charge on the check. Learned this the hard way, once, and then again twice, so this was probably the last time I tried this place, which is a shame, since they are the only Thai place in the area. Rassasme's 2nd location is one of my newest favorites! Every time my spouse and I go, we try a diffferent curry or noodle dish and they never disappoint. We really enjoy the small space, making dinner feel intimate. The lady that is from Thailand is the sweetest and ensures you are happy with your meal/drinks.
