Today my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to have Michaelangelo's for dinner. We've had them many times before , even delivered to out apartment. I was working past their closing time (10pm bc it's Friday) but my bf was off. So we get our order ready and he calls into the Firetower location (the one we always use ). Once he gave them the address the response was : "We don't deliver to you." And the guy hangs up. No chance to ask what changed, no apology for the inconvenience, just a rude click. When I hear of this I call. I tell them the address and they of course again say they don't deliver, but I'm prepared for the click and quickly say "Why?" Before it can happen. The conversation continues as follows: Me: why can't you deliver to me? Him: I don't know. Me: you delivered to me last weekend and last week too, what changed? Him: I don't know. Me: Well if you don't cover my area anymore, what about your Evans Street location? Him: I don't know. Call them and ask. A very bossy, rude attitude flows through the phone line during this conversation. This time it's me who hangs up. I call the Evans St store, hoping to still be able to give this company business and order dinner. I say I want delivery and tell the guy on the line that the Firetower store has stopped delivery in my area and I want to know if they deliver. Before I can give my address I am cut off with : "Well if they don't deliver to you neither do we. We only deliver to the same places they do. You're only choice is to come pick it up"
So overall I have learned that the food place we loved to order from because of the delicious food and nice people is no longer a place I will order from. Between the rude customer service, the carelessness of the associates, the lack of knowledge or willingness to help, this place is far from family friendly. How can you have two stores miles apart that will only deliver to the same locations. Evans St didn't even bother to ask me my address. Then Firetower store suddenly stops delivering to my area, less than 2 miles from their location, and no one know why. Well for all your unintelligent careless rude employees let me tell you they have cost you a customer. And I'm taking everyone I...
Read moreThis place has gone down hill. It was filthy trash all over the floor and on the tables and the tables were sticky and nasty, they had no customers when we first got there so they had time to clean the dinning room before we came in. Then when we got our food the pizza was soggy and greasy The calzone wasn't even cooked all the way it was still cold in the middle the cheese was still cold the ham was still cold The then the lady proceeds to tell me that she will reheat the calzone that she made me when she gave me back the calzone the bread was burnt in the middle was still not cooked. Then she proceeds to tell me that that's how she has always made it and no one has complained before and if this is really how it's always been made then y'all need to regroup because a calzone is not supposed to be cold The ham and cheese is not supposed to be cold the cheese is supposed to be melted and oozing out. The other Michelangelo's in Greenville surely did not cook theirs like that because I left from this Michelangelo's and went to the other one and ordered the same order and it was fresh it wasn't soggy it was cooked all the way the cheese was melted and they were very good service and clean. We will no longer be coming back to this location. You guys need...
Read moreCame here because this was a really good place years ago. We get here and proceed to order our food. AFTER we begin placing our order, we were stopped and informed that it would be cash only. Luckily we had some cash on us at the time, which is very rare. I wanted to order a 2-liter soda and told us that we couldn’t because we were dining in. That was strange to me because at the other location, we could. I told my husband to go ahead and order drinks. We finish placing our order, went to sit at a table and waited on our food. My daughter was in line to order an additional drink when one of the workers was telling another “I guess she was mad about the drinks”. She told me once she got to the table because apparently they didn’t realize she was with me. I inquired about what was said and nobody seemed to know what I was talking about (how convenient). If you’re going to talk about someone, make sure you know who they...
