Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Greenville

Came to have dinner at 8:30pm knowing they close at 9:00pm and wanted to quickly get in and out thinking we would have plenty of time. The restaurant was packed full with people dining in and there was a line full of people also. However, they hardly had any food in the line!!! I ordered a bowl and they gave me smaller than the normal portion sized scoops. They also didn’t have half of the options in the cooler so I basically got a bowl with nothing in it. My boyfriend got a burrito that was basically just rice and beans because they skimped on the chicken and didn’t have other options to fill it up. We also felt very rushed and the service was impersonal. They had already broken down the salsa line so we were left with scraping the rest of the little bit of salsa out of the bottom of the container. They had already broken down their tea urns but over half their tables were dirty. All they cared about was getting shut down even though it was 30 minutes before close with a full restaurant. Very disappointed!! We came here over chipotle expecting better food and service. Once I finally started eating my food was cold and not very good. What a waste of money! They had locked their door at 8:50 and had an employee letting people out. This place sucks to go to before close so don’t even waste your time! They were shortstaffed only one person was there but he held down the fort and he was generous enough to stay open without help. And that fact alone and the fact that the food was well portioned and very delicious I will be coming back on a regular basis. I've not been here before I am impressed. It's got plenty of seating room but every place has a view. a good student place and a luncheon place also.also a large shaded outdoor patio.

4-30-2025: Another delicious Moe's bowl with chips. Large portions. Great owner. Loves his place and serving Greenville. Queso is very good whether with chips or drizzle on entree.

5-15-25: busy evening got there at sunset. Full line staff. They were very helpful and patient with me because I was having trouble with my app and they were more than generous with their time and. their portions.

10-8-25: I had a delicious crunchy taco and then because of visits I had a reward of a side of guac which came with chips. And they also have a bar with Moe's sauce and salsa and other things that you can add to your stuff for free. So basically for under five dollars because they do have water if that's what you want to drink I had all I could eat. And it...

Okay, so the food was AMAZING. However, my girl was getting me all hyped up in the parking lot for the experience I was about to get. I had never been to a Moes before, but she said that they would yell "WELCOME TO MOES" when you walked in the door. I've never seen such an act of welcoming to a complete stranger before and by God I was ready for what was about to happen. As I walked to the door, she tried to cut me off and walk in first because "ladies first" or something. Nah. Stiff arm and she almost hit the bushes, She wasnt about to take this moment from me. I throw the door open and what am I met by? Nothing... silence. The employees working diligently in the background and a restaurant 70% full with happy customers. Disheartened, I went through the line and ordered some bangin burrito and my girls free queso coupon really brought the meal together (she forgave me for the stuff arm). As I ate my meal I heard those sweet words come flooding my ears as new patrons entered the door "WELCOME TO MOES!". So here I am now, wiping tears from my eyes and a chipotle vinegarette from my lips and cheeks, broken hearted but determined that I will return one day and hear those sweet...
