Overall not bad. I think the growing trend of Greenville restaurants being either mediocre or bad is getting old. The sauce for the hibachi was incredibly over powering. Personally I’d rather not feel like I could drink my food. I wish they had different sauce options as for me personally the sauce was a bit too sweet. The sushi however was incredible. 10/10 would get sushi here again and again. The waitress was very kind but I think she forgot about us as once we got our main dish it was like warm which really surprised me since this is a hibachi place. Typically hibachi is piping hot. To me the price on the hibachi does NOT match the value especially if it’s going to be served like it needs reheated in the microwave. I couldn’t decide between 2 or 3 stars. It really isn’t terrible especially if your goal is to just have some amazing sushi and at least the sushi is...
Read moreShrimp tails rolled into middle of tempura rolls. This place was okay at first. Now they have a sushi chef that only puts 2 shrimp in the tempura rolls and rolls the tails in the inside of the roll. The middle pieces are full of shrimp shells. We talked to them and were told this is how it's done. Trust me, you SHOULD NOT HAVE SHRIMP TAILS ROLLED INTO THE MIDDLE OF YOUR ROLLS!! Google it. Every roll you see has the tail out. Oh yeah, I've also eaten sushi all over the world for decades (including Asia) and the tails are not in the middle They told us to request they aren't in there. Never had to do that, but okay. We requested they be removed and our rolls came with the tails in the middle. Gonna go eat real sushi someplace where they have a real sushi chef. Good...
Read more1 YEAR AGO, the tornado took out my favorite restaurant Moshi Moshi Winchester , I went there so much I made a friend with a waiter at Moshi, after that day I never seen him again and never got the satisfaction of eating somewhere that good, I went to Fuji in Muncie and Yamato in Richmond none of them satisfied me. AND TODAY I tried Segoku japanese cuisine it is now the only restaurant that was able to bring the memories of Moshi Moshi, the sushi rolls I ate were so good my miso soup was nice and hot, the hibachi I got was also good. Not to exaggerate but I got emotional eating that sushi the fried roll tasted like the Winchester roll, the other roll was good it was sweet and spicy and the taste was amazing. I know its not really that serious but it is...
