The Bodega & Café — Restaurant in Greenville

We looked for a healthy dinner on the road with our dog and this looked ideal, but it was really not for us. The menu looks great but they don't have the items with fresh veggies. They said they found the college students don't order healthy options but we eat on other campus towns and find fresh options. Beware even the unhealthy option of a steak quesadilla was disgusting, like the meat had a pasty consistency, no discernable texture of beef, and the whole thing was saturated in oil and tasted nasty. Did not eat. The chicken wings tasted pretty good but we picked off the feathers first. There are many bottled and canned beverages of all varieties you can buy for a fair price, and there is outdoor seating that is enjoyable. The women's room was a disaster no one was going to attend to so I used the men's room. The Bodega had a very limited inventory. I recently visited the bodega and my experience was excellent. Having visited in the past, I consistently enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere of the bodega. The layout is designed, to offer ample space for both browsing and relaxation. Whether inside or outside the building, there are lounge areas for visitors to hang out making it a great spot to unwind. For me, Bodgea's biggest draws are its unique beverage, food, and candy selection every visit I make sure to pick up a bottle of Everfresh juice my favorite. The customer service from the moment I stepped inside, was welcoming and created an inviting atmosphere. I am very proud of The Bodega and Cafe! My children and I dined there late last night. Not only was the food freshly made and tasty, the customer service was exceptional. Ryan and the staff in the kitchen had so much energy and passion about their job and what The Bodega has to offer. The cost is reasonable, but keep in mind that this is not fast food.
