When my husband and I visit my daughter in Greenwood, we usually do a night where the parents go on a much needed date night and we (the grandparents) babysit the 4 & 6 year old. This past weekend, my daughter ordered our food before they left on their date to be delivered at a specific time.
When the order arrived, everyone’s food was in the bag except for the four year-old’s children’s chicken nugget meal. He was devastated that everyone got food except him.
I called Arnies and spoke to a representative and explained the order was place before the parents left for the evening and we did not have transportation (because we flew in from out of state). She told me there was nothing that she could do. I asked to speak to a manager and explained to her the same scenario. I have a devastated, crying and hungry 4 year old that does not have dinner and I don’t have a way to go pick it up.
Once again, I was told there was nothing that they could do, that it was not Arnie’s issue, that it was the delivery companies issue. She recommended I replace the order through them and dispute the order that we did not receive. I explained that the delivery driver picked up the food that was prepared, Arnies was the one who forgot to put it in the bag.
There was no resolution offered, there was very little empathy offered. I went ahead and called another restaurant and had my grandson food delivered. By time his food got there, all of our food was cold because there was no we were going sit down and eat dinner in front of a four-year-old who was crying because he was hungry and his food didn’t come. The time prior to his, Arnies forgot to send his French fries with his nuggets. Needless to say everytime he passes Arnies in the car he points and will continue to say...
Read moreMy wife our daughter and I spent over an hour waiting for our food while several other parties were sat had ordered ate and left.
Long after we were sat the lobby filled quickly and we intentionally showed up before the dinner rush to have plenty of time to leave to church for our evening plans after dinner.
We never got any food and we were completely and totally ignored every time the “server” past by to tend to other parties around us all of whom had arrived quite some time after us.
After sitting there in the booth from 457pm to after 6pm and not being even looked at we asked for the manager who then literally went to hide at the server stand/computer while we left without her ever even offering to make it right.
My family and I have dined in several times with no problems with a fat bill every time and a hefty tip every time but tonight was the last! poor management! poor staff! poor service! and no food
I hope the manager learns how to lead her staff and learns how to make a great opportunity out of a bad situation like offering ANYTHING to help and to provide any kind of customer service at all versus running...
Read moreWe come into this place a lot bc we enjoy the food, today isntgoing so great! We were seated and have sat for 15 minutes with NO server , as one of the adults from our table goes to ask if we are ever getting service that we have been sitting for 15 minutes waiting on a server the manager RUDELY replies I know you haven’t been here for 15 minutes! Okay first off who the hell are you to pop off at a customer? Well personally that was bs, his resp New suould have been hold on just a second I will get you a server! Come to find out he is the GM of this place, ya what a joke someone like him should not be running a resteraunt clearly because he has no people skills. Nor does he know how to respond to customers when there is an issue or concern. Finally the waitress came as our friend went to ask for a server in which she told us she is swamped with tables, well then the manager should be out helping his staff not hiding in the bar. We then asked for the corporate number and the owners name we were brought the number by the GM and he then walked away. Such a crappy visit today. Which is not usually the case but...
