Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Greenwood

Update to Owner's response - I was there shortly after the lunch rush, so I can understand the scattered napkins and straw paper and food pieces on the floor. What I find unacceptable is what appeared to be dog poop(pictured below) from someone's shoes in 2 or 3 places on the lobby floor. If you can't see what is visibly wrong with the napkins dispensers that I attached 2 images of different dispensers on, that's something else. These dispensers are caked with grime and thick dirt from a very long time of not being cleaned. They should all be wiped down a minimum of a couple times a week as part of closing duties. These things currently need a whole bath. I've always frequented this location and I've never had an issue with the food or rude staff, allbeit sometimes careless(it is fast food after all). Food is good for what it is...but the state the lobby was in, is entirely unacceptable for a food establishment.

Original post: Maybe it's just me, but this is absolutely disgusting. This is thick with weeks, maybe months, of uncleaned surfaces. It's even sticky to the touch. They all look like this. 🤢 there's food and napkins scattered on the floor. While I never expect perfection, this is just gross. We visited this Jersey Mike's on 7/1/23 at 6:30pm. We love Jersey Mike's, but will likely not be returning to this one any time soon after witnessing the manager on duty humiliate his staff. He actively stopped making our sandwiches while we were interacting with a young woman on the register to tell us about how she was supposed to be in Cincinnati for a Taylor swift concert, but he had told her if she did not come in and work this weekend she was fired. He was bragging about this to us as customers in front of this young woman, which only highlighted to us as customers that he does not respect his staff, gloating about pressuring this young girl to give up tickets that were not only a rare opportunity, but also exceptionally hard to get. Before leaving I made sure to go up to the girl when he was not present and told her not only that we felt it was incredibly toxic of him to do that, but wrong to have boasted about it as well, I hope that young woman finds somewhere to work where she is valued as she was wonderful but deserves so much better than...

I know they are just getting started, but they need to get their stuff together. Ordered online 7 subs for two families at 747 pm. Went and got food another place, then showed up after the pickup time. Didn’t get out of jersey mikes until 822, 20 mins after time estimated. It can’t take 40 minutes to make 7 sandwiches. Meanwhile while I was waiting they were servicing half a dozen people walking up to eat in and got through their orders. Just got a “sorry bro” from the guy who handed me my order. Frosties for the kids melted in the car from my first stop... Poor DoorDash guy also was standing around waiting too losing time and money. When I got home order was naturally wrong too.

*Updated 5/19/23 - been back a few times and I think the kinks have been worked out. Very nice place and working much better since then....
