My first visit here was like a week ago. I wanted a traditional breakfast so I ordered 2 pancakes with eggs and grits. I'm not sure what was going on with the pancakes from the moment I touched the top one to lift it to put butter on the second pancake it fell completely apart every attempt I made. I finally got butter on both pancakes and poured syrup over to see if they tasted okay or not. The pancakes did taste good what does syrup on but the whole falling apart turn me off from pancakes, maybe it is the recipe? I had a very friendly & young waitress so I stopped her and told her about the pancakes, she said ppl come to eat other stuff mainly & if I wanted something else and I said yes please some french toast. (Already ate my egg and grits) The French toast was good if I was to never know about sweet brioche bread. A lot of restaurants are using brioche bread for their French toast because it is sweeter, & taste better but this French toast was made from Texas toast as I guessed & confirmed with the waitress. I checked out my bill up front at the counter and I think it was the manager and she was very nice however when I mentioned my pancakes falling apart she was just kind of baffled... I took pictures, this is not me cutting the pancakes up...the pancakes taste good (I took a couple bites) despite falling apart, but I've never had pancakes fall apart like that at any restaurant Ive visited in my life. I would suggest either a better recipe for the pancakes or changing the name...

I moved to the area two years ago and have driven by this place many times before finally getting a chance to try it out. The first thing I was happy to see on the menu was an explanation of the name of the restaurant: "yiayia" is Greek for "grandma", which also explains the several Greek dishes found on the menu. The food was good! The special banana bread french toast was very tasty. Despite the portion not looking large, it was very filling especially with the included eggs and meat. The food came out quickly and our service was both friendly and attentive. There were only two things I noticed that were less than ideal: there were signs at each table specifying a one-hour limit for dine-in... this was odd, to say the least. Also, the floors were quite dirty despite the restaurant not being very busy at the time. Still, the food and service were good. I will definitely be back to try some different dishes, and perhaps pick up some cannoli from the dessert case!

Great spot for breakfast and brunch! I recommend to get there early or it gets pretty busy around 10-11am. Overall great homestyle breakfast items and huge portions!! I'd say great bag for your buck. I ordered the South of the border omelette and it was delicious! You really could taste all the flavors of the peppers and chorizo but I will say it was a little over done. The hash browns were just mediocre but balanced the omelette well. I chose to get one of their pancakes on the side and it was one of the most fluffy pancakes I've ever had!! So good you don't need to put any butter on it but I did anyways and it was so good. Great way to start my Sunday!!

Sadly this visit is not starting off well. We arrived about 2:20pm for breakfast. We were sat right away in the back of the building. A girl came over immediately and asked if we wanted coffee. And then it goes downhill from there. About two minutes after we sat a table behind us was sat. The server came to their table immediately but ours still hadn't shown up. The table behind us got drinks and placed their order before a server finally came to the table. She did not apologize and just took our order. After she took our order she came back, apologized for the wait, and said she got our server. When she came to the table she gave us our drinks and asked if we needed a menu. We told her that we already ordered and she said "oh, well let me know if you need anything". Our food did come out fairly quickly and was hot and delicious. Our server did come by a few times after that to check on us.

They have new owners and have changed their hours from 7am-4pm to 7am-3pm, 7 days a week. They're also repainted the inside and making some updates to the lighting. I'll possibly be back again, but hopefully the overall service improves...

Usually one of my favorite breakfast places but as of today, Jun 1, it hosts the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I forget our servers name but she was taller with brown curly hair. I understand being busy and waiting a few minutes for a table. We get to the table and order two waters and an oj and our food all at one visit by the table to try and make it easier. We are waiting long enough for me to finish the juice and set it aside. I’m assuming she thought he was paying because She finally brings another water for my man but didn’t ask/ refill my juice. After being there an hour and watching a six top get food before us when we were seated first, we walked out. I understand waiting when it’s obviously busy but to be obviously neglected for a bigger party is unprofessional and a rookie mistake. The food is always good, but not good enough to nearly put both of us at risk for a blood sugar episode. Afterwards went down the street to four seasons, in and out in 45 minutes. It’s really sad to watch one of my favorite restaurants get taken over by the next...
