Pardon My French Bakery — Restaurant in Grover Beach

I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes, which were beautiful, and a smash cake for my daughters 1 year Birthday. I told them the colors of the party and asked them to be creative....they made me a BLACK smash cake! It was awful. Not only did I have to decorate it myself with flowers to make it more colorful and eye worthy, but my daughter's skin and clothes, as well as mine, are all stained black! Also, the cake itself was too hard to even be smashed...my daughter eventually just pushed it off the high chair. I am truly disappointed. I can't understand why any bakery would think a black cake is suitable for a 1 year old girl's Birthday. I will certainly not be recommending or purchasing...

I first learned of Lolo and Jamie's wonderful bakery a couple of months ago. Wow, after my first visit I had to call back to the bakery and say thank you. Lolo is a master craftsman, everything I have tried has been exquisit. They only use the best ingredients, I swear that even the cinnamon had to be special it was so good. I can recommend anything, and if you are looking for a fancy cake, this is the place. One of my personal favorites is the bread pudding, made from leftover croissants and is the best I have ever had. We are lucky to have such a fine bakery here on the Central Coast. Thank you...
