We thought this place was a good pick based on reviews. We were a party of four, two of us ordered the filet bites, one ordered a chef salad with grilled chicken, and I ordered the wagyu burger. The filet bites were very cold when they got to our table. The pad of herbed butter they place on top of the bites, remained unmelted and in their original round shape. That’s how cold the bites were. The chef salad with grilled chicken came out as the tortilla salad with pulled chicken. The waitress became visibly irritated by the mistake she made with the salad, telling my daughter that she has to specify the chicken (after my daughter spoke very clearly that she wanted a chef salad with grilled chicken)?! When the new salad arrived at our table, an empty condiment cup was found in the salad under the tomato and lettuce. We didn’t bring any of this (cold steak bites & hidden empty condiment cup) to the attention of the waitress as she seemed to be so quickly frustrated by the salad issue. We are passing through, on vacation, but needless to say, if we lived here we would not come back to this restaurant. On a more positive note: the wagyu burger and Summer brown ale...
Read moreWe were staying at the hotel next door and stumbled in, but I am so glad we did! The atmosphere is so chill. The entire staff were so attentive. I saw the owner sitting at the bar working with his little pup next to him, but anytime he saw a chance to bus a table or help bring out food, he stopped what he was doing to jump in. But the food.. seriously wow! It was hard enough to decide what we wanted from the menu because it all sounded so good. My husband went with the wagyu burger and garlic fries. He loved it! I went with the Philly cheesesteak and cheese curds. I’ve never had a Philly cheesesteak like that. It was SO good. I have to say my only feedback was that the cheese was very rich and I only finished half before I tapped out. Still probably the best I’ve ever had. The cheese curds were amazing! I. Could’ve eating an entire bucket of them. The beer was great too! I was bummed because I’m pregnant and wanted to try a few, but my husband loved the...
Read moreAbsolutely LOVED our visit to Paso Robles Brewing Co. — it was a total hit from start to finish! The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff super friendly, and the food and drinks were next level. We tried the street tacos, garlic parmesan fries, and two wagyu burgers (one with a bun, one wrapped in lettuce) — every bite was bursting with flavor. The wagyu was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the fries were seriously addictive.
We enjoyed tastings of all of the craft beers (delicious) but the raspberry seltzer stole the show! Crisp, refreshing, and just the right amount of fruity — easily the best hard seltzers I’ve ever had. Can’t wait...
