Check your food every time you get it! Usually the service here is really good, but it wasn't last night!
I ordered through the mobile app for my order. The cashier who took my order at the drive-thru window was rude. I told him that myself and someone else in my party had two separate orders and he replied with "okay but you can't use the same card for both of them." I told him we had no plans to do that, and I'm not sure why it was relevant information. He could've been having a bad night though, who knows.
At the drive-thru screen and at both the payment window and pick-up window, I was not told that they were out of the Holiday Pies that I ordered. I was not offered a substitution at all. They were really going to let us rive away without all of the food my husband paid for!
I checked the order, only to find that it was missing the pies. We couldn't back up as there were cars behind us. Normally I stay parked to check my food before I leave any fastfood place, just in case I got the wrong items, etc. I didn't get a chance to this time.
I had to go inside instead and get the cookies that they offered us as a substitute of equal value. I was upset, not because the items were missing necessarily, but because they didn't bother to tell me they were out, nor offer a substitution during the drive-thru process. Read moreUpdate 10/04/20222 I notified at the drive through of my order number after checking in through the McDonalds mobile application. I was promptly notified by a younger female associate through the drive through that they wouldn't be able to fulfill my order because they only had chicken nuggets available and fries. I then asked for a refund and she denied me a refund and said I would have to do it myself online and that she couldn't refund me (which I know is false because I've been credited before by a cashier so she lied to me) after I changed locations I drove to the nearest McDonald's (13 minute highway drive) as I am arriving to the new location I call 4500 twin city store to file a complaint. The manager answered her name started with a R but I wasn't able to catch the full name. She notified me that the buns were frozen and had to be thawed and when I asked why I was essentially lied to by the crew member she said "I'm not sure they were doing their own thing" essentially admitting to me that the crew members essentially lied in order to not fulfill my order and make it easier on herself. She (lying team member at the drive through) costed me valuable time/money since I waited at the drive through, drove to another McDonald's and had to return to the original McDonalds and walk into the lobby and wait as well as the gas I spent driving around for nearly 25 minutes back and forth between the 2 locations. Read moreI am never going here again, and neither should you. I waited about 3-5 minutes for the drive-through speaker. No big deal, i have time. Multiple people left the line because the wait at the speaker was longer for them. They messed up on the red truck in front of me, and I sat for another 5 minutes. No big deal, accidents happen. I get up to the window to pay and he said how much so I gave him my card and he gave it back with my receipt. I get to the next window and this guy handed me a bag and said I had the big breakfast with all this extra stuff and I said no. I just got two mcgriddles and we went back and forth for a minute till he asked for my receipt and i gave it to him and he said, yea see you order the big breakfast to which i said no and i relized that i paid for someone elses meal. Then they start telling me that it was my fault that i cut in front of people and messed up the line.... There was me and the car behind me. Two people, everyone else left before paying because no one was taking orders. I then have to repeat my order five times and they get my stuff and gave me extra stuff that I didn't order because they thought i ordered it when I didn't.
