Today, I came to my favorite coffee shop. I had already lost one of my favorite Baristas, Ellie, through a transfer to the Orange store. Now I learn that Kayleigh and Tish are now gone. 😔 One left unhappy and one was fired? Why? How can someone fire Tish? I know she is a spirited girl and her reaction to Lawrence was a little abrasive, but that was her frustration with the present situation, and she is human. Surely there was another way to mediate any issues? To fire someone is one assuming power over another, not taking into account that human element. Tish was a great worker so she had to be fired over a power issue. I know these girls to be the sweetest and kindest I have known. They were all nice to me and even gave me a sympathy friend card ( from their 💕) Now only my other favorite, Victoria remains. Kayleigh! She had a tattoo on her arm for her grandmother. She was a good worker too! I saw her wash windows and everything. For her to leave she must have just had it. It seems that Brian Nichols, and these new rules ( Squeezing for the dollar ) has cost something that Mr. Nichols seem to have left out of his equation, the human element. Brian was able to swing Chipotle around because it was mainly a food and trust issue. Trust can be regained. Starbucks is huge and different. This is not a trust issue. Starbucks has a myriad of issues, and one can't wholesale cause a great seismic shift to fix the lagging business. Starbucks needs to be recalibrated. Prices and products need better evaluation, service needs ro be tweaked, but most importantly Baristas must be given value and input, since it is they outfront behind the counter. As I am posting now, know that Brian Nichols will fail! Mark my words! I come to this store everyday and there are days I buy multiple coffees and food. The reason for even coming here was those girls. They were the greatest and now they are gone. Honestly I am so ticked off over the circumstances. Lawrence! Is there nothing that can be done? Can we not mediate a solution and bring back these girls? I own a chain of therapy stores, glass companies, and real estate interests. I understand business but most importantly I understand my employees. If this is the way Starbucks store management handles priceless employees where there is now a turnover, then since Tish and Kayleigh have now been, in essence forced out, then in solidarity, I as a daily fixture and customer at Starbucks will be out as well. Tish and Kayleigh! You do matter! You girls should be here and you girls are not, so now I will no longer be...
Read moreComing from an eccentric businessman from this area for some time now, I would like all to know that I see all the comings and goings and all the little intricacies associated with Starbucks Groves. I am ex- military and brutally honest and hold nothing back. If you hear it from me you are hearing it! My honest assessment of the store is that it is very well run. I was able to see the District Manager today and quickly noticed his attention to detail. I also noticed Lawrence being real receptive and taking notes in order that all necessary actions needed would be quickly implemented. Lawrence is seen here all the time and seems tireless. To all the customers that come in, and let's face it, they are always in a hurry and not always nice, and the ability of these young employees to consistently deal with today's general public is impressive. The management and employees of this establishment are all accommodating and they do the best job they can possibly do. I have read the reviews the public post and they are actually quite amusing and humorous. The guy with the bean in his Americano, and the coffee beans on the counter as rat droppings had me laughing hysterically. Being in business as long as I have it is obvious to me, in spite of some in the public feeling obligated to spread their hurt feelings and negative energy constantly ( Welcome to Earth) that the employees are the backbone of any establishment, and that these employees at this store lead by their terrific leader Lawrence are fantastic. The leadership and employees have no reservations about trying to be courteous and do a good job for you, the least the customers and public could do is say thank you or leave a positive post. I will start! Thank You Management, Daniel, Jaden, Emily, Tami, Ry, and to all the others as not to...

×××××××××××××××××××××××× Simply ain't the same place I don't know what happened! This morning I got so angry - Not going to go into specifics, (it wasn't a long line issue- there was no line) but I immediately went to the Starbucks on hwy 365, they fixed me up! So, I'll have to travel a little far for my morning coffee! It's worth the trip! Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Wow! The drive through line is down the street, the parking lot is almost full, you all are extremely busy today! However, the guy inside that seems to be taking care of the online and walk-in orders is exemplary! I'm impressed how organized he is at distributing the orders inside. He actually looked at me, called my name and carried the drink over to me in a flash. He is remarkable! Work with him to have his...
